" The staff were so friendly. However, the car was so old and patched up. It does not even have even reverse senser. Although I am very experienced driver, and can drive many different cars without given instruction, it will be nice, and may be more respectful, if the guy who gave us the key would spend a few minutes going through the key points of the car, and what is the procedure in case of an emergency. We have been asked to sign for the car condition report before even the car was inspected. So basically, we signed on a blank paper. This worried me so much as I ended up taking pictures of all dents and scratches of the car before I drove. We have paid the rental agency online in The Uk extra for a full insurance, but Alamo wanted to hold €900 on my credit card. I though this was over excessive amount. Last year, the amount was about €500. The same when handed back the car, we must sign for its condition without inspection. The report came a few minutes later via email. Despite retuning the car with any damage, I was so worried as I could not tell whether I was liable for extra payment. Luckly, we were not travelling back to the UK immediately after the retuning the car, so we went back to the rental kiosk to ensure that we will not have surprises for additional charges when we are back home later. The Guy at the rental office told nothing to worry about – we have returned the car as per the collection condition. So, there will be no charges. Why we have been told this when we retuned the car? We literally wasted so much time for nothing. Overall all, I think the process needs be a bit professionalism "
