We didn't expect to be charged for (1) a second driver because I was the only one who would drive the KWID (2) nor for filling the tank because we had to cross town 4 times to see if we could get a better car within the same category. Wasted some of our holiday driving across PMB to ask about a replacement. "

Was refused car rental at Avis office because voucher reflected an 'international rate' and not one available to SA residents. Nowhere does it state that the country of residence must be definedat the time of booking. Called Auto-Europe and was told I would be refunded money - but I was left with no car - so had to hire from another provider at a higher rate than I had paid. "

When I returned the car despite looking very carefully I could not see what the returns folk were pointing at so I filled in a reporty saying so immediately.
