" Everything went smoothly, besides the fact I tried to contact them multiple times on the pick-up day without any answer. The car was very dirty outside (dusty, which is "normal" in Dubai) and very stained inside on the matts and even on the seats. There was even an old hotel key card on the glove compartment. Still great value. "

" The worst car rental company I've ever booked. Staff are very bad, forceful and make lies in order to charge more money. Counter staff lied about mandatory charges but later changed his mind as we wanted to cancel. Demanded for extra £109 initially. Then the car we got given had all ants inside with spilt coffee. And thirdly, on return, the staff ripped rubber from the back seat thinking I'm not looking. But then forced me to sign and admitted he caused damage and not to worry as there will be no charge. Also spoke to supervisor who reassured me no charges will be made. I've just been charged on my card and I am furious at the conduct of this company. The staff there will destroy Avis reputation. I have video footage of condition of car too. "

" I was told when i arrived in Dubai that there was an additional 500 Dhirums for insurance because i was paying with a debit card and 2000 in addition coming off my card which will be refunded in 45 days. I refused to take the car. This is not clearly stated in the T&Cs. are there is nothing about paying additional insurance if you have a debit card. So i took a car with hertz instead who are happy to take debit cards. I emailed your company twice to check i had not been charged (NO REPLY) I rang your company today to find out that i have been charged in full even though i did not take the car. I am starting a claim of fraudulent charges against your company now from my bank and will post all my experience on you tube on other social media. and the cheek is you took the money off my debit card ... This scam is shocking ! "
