" staff were absolutely great. Replaced the car within 90 minutes, dropping it at our accommodation when the fanbelt went. The Jimny's are getting pretty battered and tired now but with the condition of the roads thats not surprising! Efficient at having the car ready as always, 15 mins from walking out of security to being in the car. really efficient adding extra drivers etc. Would 100% recommend! "

" Auto Europe are my go to hire car company in world wide travel. Always best deals and so easy to use. "
" Half term week is an expensive week to hire. The vehicles tend to be a bit older eg 4-5 years and that is a hard pot hole time in Barbados. Equally never let us down despite conditions. Pick up process is very slow and laborious where they hand wrote everything. I booked a car in New Zealand and pick up was completed within 5 mins. Drop off slightly disconcerting. They just take the keys and check the vehicle later. But then many do this. So take lots of pictures!! "

" The booking with Auto Europe was easy enough and the car provided caused no problems, although it had evidently been well used (30,000 km on the clock and a few dents and scrapes noted). My main concern was the above issue over the CD insurance, as explained above. "
" There was confusion and contradictory statements about the collision damage coverage between Auto Europe and Alamo (Go) in Barbados. Auto Europe's voucher stated that the rental includes CD insurance cover limiting my liability to $1750. On pick up, I was obliged to pre-pay US$10 per day + VAT insurance (X 28 days) to reduce my maximum collision damage liability to US$1750. The car rental desk told me if I didn't take their insurance, I would be liable up to the full cost of the car and would have to reclaim from yourselves under the insurance provided in my agreement with you. I felt there was really no option but to pay the local Barbados insurance, even though this appears to duplicate the cover I thought already existed with yourselves. It looks like I paid twice for this limited collision damage insurance. "

" Although staff polite & friendly, it was a very slow and manual process of paperwork on arrival (the majority of this could/should have been pre-completed as was provided as part of my online booking). For the 2nd time of using this company, the vehicle was very old, tired and not road worthy (extreme shaking of steering at 65kph and above). Would not use again as I expect a much higher standard in a rental vehicle "
