" We purchased full insurance through autoeurope. However goldcars refused to give us the car unless we purchase full insurance again, that was extra £50. The vehicle had dents and scratches all over, which was highlited to the officers where we collect the car, their answer was that is ok as we are fully insured. Thank goodness we took a video of the condition of the car on collection, as shortly after we dropped the car off, we received an email from the insurance as they tried to claim we had dented and scratch the car. When we dropped off the car, as it was after hours, we were meant to drop the key in a key box. Someone approached us and asked for the keys saying they can park the car for us and drop the key (confirmed scan). Also, a day later, they claimed we have not returned the car with a full tank, fortunately we had taken a picture of the dashboard showing a full tank and kept the receipt for filling the tank just prior to drop off. I have noticed a £13 charge on my account from goldcars, no explanation, which I will have to call them tomorrow for an explanation. In conclusion, avoid them, but if you must use them make sure you protect yourself by keeping solid evidence of every little mark on the car. "

Which upsets me as the whole effort of getting a cost effective price goes out of the window. Also the hard sell for additional insurance was painful dealing with Carwiz as it didn't stop they kept on pushing it even those I had the coverage from Auto Europe. " On arriving at the airport we got picked up in a very nice Peugeot 3008 witch was a very nice vehicle witch I was very pleased with as it was a big enough vehicle to get all our luggage into it we where taken to do the paper work and I was asked if this vehicle was good or did I require a bigger one at a extra cost of £6 per day no thanks the car we got picked up in is good,When I went out side to collect the car I find that all our luggage had been taken out of the 3008 & put into a smaller 2008 what is this I asked the man replyed (your car) no i said to small, he then said (no same size) after a lot of phone calls & arguing him saying it's same size & me saying no because the luggage wouldn't fit in the car they didn't have a Nissan Qashqai but insitted that the 2008 is ( same size ) I don't think so because I have one & all our luggage fitted in nice so a a result of this I don't think I will be using them. " When we arrived there were no child seats, despite having it confirmed there would be two. The company found one and then advised me a 4 year old didn't need one in Turkey. On arriving at my Villa I checked this on line to find this untrue. Credit to the company they then went out and bought a seat and delivered it direct to me, but unfortunate the booking wasn't correct on arrival. Everything else was fine. "
