" I was received by Tomas at Budget, Bratislava International Airport. He was very efficient, friendly, spoke good English and the registration procedure was very quick. I was happy with our car. When I returned the car a week later, the desk was closed during the lunch period. However, my phone call was answered immediately by the on-duty staff and I was given directions as to where to leave the keys and log book. I had an unfortunate incident where I lost the original log book. Tomas was very sympathetic and quickly arranged for me to take another car. I am also very grateful that Budget did not charge me for losing the logbook! Thank you to Budget at Bratislava Airport. "

" The only issue in the entire experience was with auto Europe at the beginning. I placed the order for my car and was told I had to wait for confirmation from the company. This was over a weekend when we were flying on the Tuesday morning early and we did not get confirmation until the Monday. This left me nervous over the weekend that we did not have a car and I even looked into other options ready in case I was let down. I had been emailing the Customer Services team, but when the email came through to confirm the booking, it came from a different email address and went into my spam folder. So when I rang up to find out where it was they told me they had already sent the email and I had to go back and check my spam folder. But the emails I was getting from the Customer Services were going straight into my inbox. "

" I have hired over 40 cars worldwide and this was the best rental experience I have ever had. The gentleman who looked after us at the booze at Bratislava Airport was fantastic. He clearly explained all of the requirements and helped me with the car seat and gave excellent directions to the car and also excellent explanation on where to return to which entrance to use et cetera et cetera. The car was perfectly clean in great order and exactly what we had ordered on the website. "

" Easy to compare cars, I use another comparison website normally and auto europe seems to be working exactly the same. I was surprised I was charged in pounds as I thought I was comparing in Euros but apart from that booking was easy. "

" Easy to book, pick up a car and return. We had great time on our trip, car was really nice and clean, all ready, no hassle. I like that car rental came with unlimited km which was helpful when we visited places across the country and that it came with motorway ticket too. So I didn't need to purchase extras. Staff was helpful and friendly, all was good. The only part I didn't like was that same rent and same car costs cheaper in Poland than Slovakia. We are used to rent car in Poland and we save so much money that way even travelling cross border, in Slovakia prices are higher for exactly same thing. That's not right. "

" The car rental price was very competitive and the car was in relatively good condition. It is unusual that nobody accompanies you to the car to check for any damage and that it concurs with the diagram with the car documents but, as there was only one person at the Budget desk, then I guess it wasn't possible. "

" Autoeurope was not accurate in advertising vs. delivery. A free second driver was plastered all over the webpage, all they way through the booking and payment. It was very clear that the second driver would be added for free. But when the voucher came through, it listed a very hight price if you wanted to opt for an extra driver.... That was outrageous "

" When booking on-line the write up is: 'includes additional driver' and then under 'driver information' an unclear statement: 'Additional drivers: EUR 42.35 per rental, VAT included, paid locally. First additional driver is included in rates.' It is not clear, in what rates? And why were we charged at the counter if it is included in rates? We were disapointed with the experience. "

Car - considering the covid related increased hygiene demand, I think the car has not been cleaned sufficiently. The finger prints on the windows were visible, there was a stain on the driver's seat. Not all marks and scratches were noted down in the book. I do not understand why the winter tyres were on. Visual inspection also showed that the front left tyre was under the required limit. After checking the pressure at the petrol station, it only showed 1.5 instead of required 2.5. The dashboard display kept flashing the 'check the air in the wheels' warning. "

" Booking with Auto Europe is pretty straightforward and I have been doing it for number of years now. "

" The car in question had winter tyres on, which in high temperatures over 30°C is extremely dangerous, as any mechanic would tell you. Suffice to say that it highly influenced my quality of driving in such temperatures and also in torrential rain. Also, checked the documents a couple of days before drop off and was absolutely shocked that they lent me a car with invalid insurance card! The insurance expired a few days before I picked the car from Bratislava airport!!! How were they even allowed to lease a car that didn't have insurance in order??? I always thought of Budget as a decent company after years of renting from them, but this was absolutely awful. My driving this car could have ended in tragedy! To satisfy demand for cars in the busy holiday period, they seem to compromise on overal safety. "

" I would never use this provider again as they have holding my deposit of £800 for 14 days for no reason. They told me that they have a right to do this but it is not in the terms and conditions. I returned the car in the same condition as collected and the gentleman told me that he will unlock my deposit but he never did. Following 4 phone calls still did not unlock or released my deposit back to me. Not happy. I have never experienced such a strange service in my life before. Holding a deposit for no reason. I do not understand how can someone do this? "

" Budget charged me for the missing petrol from the vehicle but refused to provide evidence of how much petrol they in fact topped up to the full. I have evidence of how much petrol was missing (no more then 3 litres!) whilst they suggested that it was 10 litres (when speaking to them). Very customer unfriendly. Also suggested that I have scratched the car in front, which is not correct and I disputed that. Not happy about the petrol situation and although I have emailed them number of times they failed to respond. I will be disputing the transaction with my credit card provider. "

" I used Auto Europe twice. I usually use other company to rent car, I am not quite sure I would recommend using A E as the price of rented car come way off the price given. Some informations are wrong, such as using the car to travel in a different country in Europe. On the website terms and conditions it was clear that it's free to travel in some of the European countries that include Poland. I then received an e-mail stating there would be a fee. Secondly on the website there is no mention of dropping and picking the car fee, which is very confusing as I would booked from another company where I would not have to pay €80 for that. Auto Europe has too be a bit clearer with prices. "

" The overall service in Bratislava was ok, there was only a confusion about the difference between what a mini and an economic car is. Once I was told it is the engine size, now I was told is the amount of doors the car has. I am still not quite sure what is now correct, and the country car fleet guide is not explaining the difference clearly. I would be happy to be able to choose from the engine size as well. "

" Quality car(Citroen C4 )with only 3000 Km,s on the clock.We travelled over to Austria so we had to pay extra for the green card but that was was made clear when we booked plus a small charge of 8 euro to use the Austrian roads, so no nasty surprises.We always take our own Garmin satnav but this car came with navigation which was another plus at no extra cost. "

" Return procedure not that clear . No one to greet us in the car park so we had to walk into the airport reception .Then we had to return to the car park and wait ,fortunately ,only a few minutes ,so it was no big deal and we had plenty of time to spare.All in all we were very pleased. "

" I have never had a problem with auto europe, I have used them before & they are usually competitive on price & the cars are as specified & sometimes upgraded "

" We hired 3 cars & arrived a the budget office at approx 5.45pm & were told that we all had to pay an additional 48euro each (as it was out of hours- where as our receipt said the office closed at 6) In the end we had to pay an additional 20euro each. Had I been on my own & not been for the fact that there were 3 car loads of us plus one other family I would have been scammed for the full 48euro! "
