" Shocking experience picking up a car from Dubai Airport, its very disorganised and chaotic. I had to get a taxi from T3 to T1 because there isnt a Budget office in T3. Then I had join a massive queue for the Budget desk at T1 arrivals, after being verified and signing the docs I had to then make my way to T1 departure - only to wait even more for them to handover my rental car. The whole process took nearly 3 hours!!! Massive disappointment considering its Dubai Int airport and would expect better process "

" Picking up the car took almost an hour at the desk in the terminal (most of the time queuing) plus another 20 mins at the pick-up desk by the car park. They had emailed a link to pre-register a few days earlier which I completed and thought that would make the process quicker but they didn't even use that system so I'm not sure why they bothered emailing it to me. During the rental I did some minor damage to the car not involving any other vehicles. On drop-off they said I needed a police report but didn't explain why and they didn't tell me that there was a Dubai Police app that I could have used to file a report. Had I known that I would have done that straight away while still in the airport. They also insisted that without the report I'm liable for the full cost of the damage rather than the excess (an argument which is still ongoing). "

" I was charged 220 dirhams for parking in MALL parking lot, which was not specified, which in the invoice and when explaining that it should've been removed because I did not park there, I exited immediately in less than two minutes where the supervisor said I would not be charged as it was a mistake I did not receive any response or reply to my email to remove that fee. " Auto Europe are a third party. However, Budget blocked far more for a deposit then Auto Europe specified they would. This is misleading. Auto Europe should also advise of distance between collection and pick up locations as I had to incur additional transfer costs. "
" Upon arriving, we had to take an additional taxi to the collection point at a cost of 5 pounds as they were based in a different terminal. When we reached the collection point, we had to wait for OVER ONE HOUR as there was only one member of staff present and she appeared to be untrained. At the end of the rental, Budget are claiming that there is tyre and alloy damage to their vehicle, which they will no doubt try to make as much money as possible. The vehicle itself was an upgrade, but only because they had run out of cars. It reeked of cigarette smoke and not been cleaned. To add insult to injury, I had to pay a taxi fair if ten pounds to return to Terminal 3. "

I offered a debit card but they were unable to accept and wasnt really interested in trying to find a solution. In the end I booked another car with Dollar at a much higher price where I had no issues. "

" The car was a Mazda 6. When it had multiple damage to bodywork and wheels. Interior was stained in small area. Did not seem clean inside. Although I took the car it was only because I had an appointment, otherwise I would have rejected it. Furthermore collection and returning the car I'd difficult in the car park. There is no office only a small stand which is unclear until you approach it. Compared to my experience in Austria with Budget and other hire companies worldwide. It was a disappointing experience. "

" Booked car one month ago assuming after 7hrs of flight and little kids with me at night it should be easy but when I went to collect it, the staff first didn't have the same car as "they were busy" so wanted to downgrade with my lagguage would not have been possible. As I was adamant to get the same car or at least similar group they managed to source it after almost 1hr 30mins. Mr.Mateen at counter didn't want to co-operate or offer an upgrade without charge. Similarly when it was time to drop off they collected the car but forgot to mention anything about Salik charges so when I went back after 5 mins to ask the staff he was very reluctant saying the case is closed and it will be charged on my card which I didn't want so after being persistent he told me to go back to the office in the Terminal 3 and ask there. When I went there surprise surprise, they didn't close they case so he eventually told me all the relevant charges which I paid. On the contrary my brother took a car from another company, his whole process from collecting to dropp-off was flawless!! "
