    Cancellation Cover Program

    Our Cancellation Cover Program will safeguard you should the unexpected happen. Although clients can cancel their booking free-of-charge up to 48 hours before pick-up, this cancellation program covers them within the final 48 hours, with a claim period of up to 30 days. With strikes, bad weather and restrictions affecting people’s travel plans beyond their control, Auto Europe has gone the extra mile to make sure you’re fully covered no matter what happens.     Add cancellation coverage to my car hire booking

    It couldn’t be easier to add our Cancellation Cover Program to your car hire reservation. All you need to do is add the product during the online booking process. Alternatively, you can ask one of our rental specialists to add it for you by calling them on +44 123 3225 114. Please note that this product can only be added to bookings made up to 48 hours prior to pick-up and only for rentals of a maximum duration of 21 days to a total value of 3,000 pounds.     Late Cancellation Refund Program T&C

    All Rental Vehicle reservations made through Auto Europe may be cancelled for any reason up to 48 hours before the time and date the booking is to commence. You can manage your Auto Europe Booking here.

    If you wish to make a claim under this Cancellation Cover Refund Program, please contact Auto Europe using the phone number and/or email address on your Booking Confirmation. You should contact Auto Europe as soon as is practical following any incident that could give rise to a claim.

    What is Covered

    Less than 48 hours before your booking is to commence, or after you pick up your rental vehicle, this Cancellation Cover will refund the total Rental Costs, or a pro rata portion of your daily booking price if you have to return your rental vehicle early, as a consequence of any of the following:

    1.1 Travel Delay and Late Arrival.

    1.2 Incapacity of the Renter through Accident, Bodily Injury or Sickness.

    1.3 Government-imposed Travel Ban or Quarantine imposed in the 48 hours before the Rental Commencement, or during the rental.

    1.4 All strikes including Airline & Air Traffic Control strikes etc.

    1.5 Adverse weather, including snow, fog, frost, storm, hurricane and Volcanic Ash Event.

    What is Not Covered

    This Cancellation Cover program does not respond to any application directly or indirectly arising out of, or contributed to by, or resulting from:

    2.1 The Renter not planning to travel and not informing Auto Europe 48 hours before pick-up.

    2.2 The Renter not having a valid driver licence or a valid credit card in the name of the main driver who contracts with the rental company, or sufficient funds available to receive the Rental Vehicle.

    How to make a Claim

    You must provide Auto Europe with evidence in support of your Refund Application, as soon as practically possible, and in any event no later than thirty (30) days after the date of the first notification to Auto Europe.
