The terminal is set over two floors. The ground floor is dedicated to arrivals, whilst the first floor is used for departures. The airport terminals have been designed with ease in mind. The layout is logical and very functional. All of which leads to an enjoyable passenger experience.
On the first floor you will find everything required for a departing passenger. Within the departure lobby you will see the check-in desks, immediately followed by passport control, security clearance, a variety of shops, a departure lounge, play area, restaurant and then your departure gates. An alternative route would be to travel along the N-634 until you pass Lavacolla and come to a roundabout where you take the first exit towards the airport. Total journey time is also approximately 21 minutes from Santiago de Compostela.
The taxi rank is located in front of the passenger terminal on the ground floor. A standard flat rate of 21€ exists for all airport journeys, together with a 0.50€ charge for each piece of luggage carried. For bicycles or bookings and additional 3.20€ also applies. A bus network operates from Santiago Airport, outside the passenger terminal on the ground floor, to Plaza de Galicia in Santiago de Compostela. Buses allow passengers to alight at numerous stops, including; the railway station, Pazo de Congresos, Rúa da Rosa and so forth.
