" I actually extended my rental until the 31st October. I was given a beautiful Cadillac 4x4.....really nice but the cost is more than dealing direct with autoeurope. On arrival at the counter it was hassle free and straight forward, and I just had to make a call to extend my rental. All good. "

" Very high cost when you consider the level and quality of service experienced offered by Dollar at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. "

So much for their anti covid cleaning. I have photos of the interior should you require them. The clerk at the counter tried to put through a 130 dollar charge for picking up 30 minutes early without informing me. "

" I booked with Dollar & Mr Gibbs booked with Thrifty. We were both advised by the staff at collection that the drop off was before midnight. The extra £76 for arriving at 16.00 was not well received. It's now clear from the paperwork that this was correct but it's either poor training or a deliberate policy to mislead that caused the extra charge "

" It all went extremely well. The staff were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and upgraded us to a huge mini-van, that I actually asked for a smaller version, it was soooo big! But I really enjoyed the driving of the vehicle we had, especially the Air Conditioning and Parking Assist camera in the rear. I took out extra Roadside Assistance for $63.Dollars, and would highly recommend people do take this add-on, because it would have been a nightmare without it had we had a breakdown. Great experience, great price, and very efficient means of car hire for travelling in the States! "

The people at Enterprise said this was not included in the deal. However, Enterprise was helpful in that they still filled up my tank without extra charge. "

" I went online to get quotes. I paid the £120 for my car rental online and then when I got to the Avis counter they charged me another £90. Be more clear with the charges in future and I will never use you again. Over £200 in USA for car rental for 4 days is extortionate!! "

" would have been fine but I had to return the vehicle because there was a difference between the fuel indicator which said 165 miles to empty when the gauge showed full tank. Wasted 3 hrs travelling there and sorting another car. However this was the first time hiring with Alamo that there has been a problem and it was sorted. Just a pity about the wasted time. "

" The pick up experience was awful and we were there over an hour, the said out credit card was declined when we rang our provider they said it wasn't and could it be a faulty machine or card so use my husbands which they said they couldn't, we had prepaid so I said to cancel all the extras they said they said they couldn't but then said we could go, I was emailed twice while away requesting I phone them even though they had my number; I didn't pick the emails up u till nearer the end of the holiday We set off early to drop the car off expecting a delay which was correct as we had to go into the desk I still do not know what happened but I won't be using dollar again "
