" People at front desks were alright, i was upgraded because they haven't a small car that i've reserved. But the car was quite old, engine turning itself off when idling, parking brake control showing that it's active all the time, when it was turned off, front tires completely used, not suitable for driving at all, car jack broken, interior not entirely cleaned "

" Despite booking on line it took nearly an hour to get the car. The chap kept saying its the system but he really didn't seem to know what he was doing. He was not a firefly employee but from another car hire firm I think judging by his T shirt? I noticed when I was waiting on my return that others were taking an age at the desk too. Goodness knows what theyd do if there was a queue. On my return I had to wait ages for a transfer to the terminal I knew he had forgotten about me ! "

" None is at the airport counter desk and no signs of who to call. After a long time I found a random stranger who was kind enough to call someone who got a transfer van to meet us but they didn't come to the desk and we don't speak any Spanish so it was another long time before I noticed. The car we had had huge amounts of damage to it on the structural part of the car and the front bumper was hanging off. "

" All my experienses with AUTO EUROPE were really good, it is the first time that I have this type of problems. "

" The car was in a very bad conditions and very dirty inside, the tires was in bad condition and one of them lossing air. During the Drop Off we should pay 29 USD per 2 gallons of gasolina, it is to expensive. I were 1 hour dealing in the front desk to complete the burocratic process to receive the car. "

" Everything good except being cheated about petrol "

" Everything was perfect EXCEPT when I returned the car I was told that I must pay 20 usd because I had not filled the petrol to the correct level I had mad e sure that I did fill it but after a days driving from Puerto Plata I did not have the energy to argue with your staff about 20 usd. You should give the car to the people with a full tank, then there could be no argument but I had to pay in cash and this annoyed me and I am afraid unless I am refunded I wont use your company again. Its a pity! "
