Driving Licence Requirements

In order to drive a vehicle in Albania you must be at least 18 years old and have a full driving licence valid in your country of residence. You will need to have the photo part of the licence and the paper part, you will also need to obtain an international drivers licence.

Age Restrictions

Generally the minimum age restriction is 23 years, age may vary by car category and you must have held your license for 1 year. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver surcharge.
