Packing the essential for your Motorhome trip

Your motorhome will be your future little house for the duration of your trip so you will need to make sure to pack the right items. Packing for an "on the road" trip needs to be as simple as possible, of course it depends weather your hiring company will include the basics or not. During your booking process you will have this info and you can decide to add specific items to avoid to bring it or buy it on your own. If you do not want to bring a lot of things with you but try just to pack the essential for your trip, you can always buy them in a supermarket or shopping center close by the rental location.

You need to take into consideration that some of your neighbours in the campgrounds may not be so quite as you would like them to be. These two item barely occupy space but will help you to rest properly and are a real life saver especially if you have troubles felling asleep or if you are a light sleeper.

Insect repellent

The biggest advantage of a motorhome is the possibility to be in contact with the unspoiled nature on the other however this comes at a price, the undesired company of insects such as spiders and bugs.Therefore an insect repellent is a mandatory purchase. Remember to always keep your motorhome neat and dust quite often, this will prevent spiders webs.

Torch

A useful items that you can not miss packing or buying locally. This item is quite helpful especially when you have to go outside your motorhome in the evening either to check something or simply to go to the bathrooms inside the campgrounds.

Hanging Toiletry bag

It is a fact that bathrooms inside motorhomes are quite small and for this reason it is important to save some space. An ideal solution that will significantly help you is to bring with you a toiletry bag and hang it behind the door. Make sure it has the right size to fit all the basics such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap etc.

Entertainment

After a busy day driving and exploring new places you may need a chilling evening but to avoid to get bored you should bring some entertainment with you to make your motorhome´s evening as fun as possible! Here are some ideas:   Books: It is nice to be surrounded by your beloved ones but some "alone-time" with your favourite book is priceless! Playing cards: Always a must have to bring with you during your holidays, it is always time for a game inside or outside your motorhome.
