However, just in terms of the customer journey... There is a degree of uncertainty when booking because of the delay between submission and it being confirmed with the end supplier. Removing this would give customers more confidence to book in future, especially for time sensitive car hires. Also the voucher aspect of the service is not typically what one would expect with car hire providers. Usually one would just book and the backend system updates without the customer having to print off a barcode and present it at pickup. I realise this is a tricky part of the process to manager. "

" Office was shut on arrival. Only one person working meant there was not always someone in the office. Though efficient, the employee was not particularly customer friendly or service oriented. On returning the car, the same employee was working and the experience was similar. No real interest in customer engagement. Took keys and documents and that was it. Later that day I received a brief email about "new damage" being found on the car. Though I do not believe the damage was sufficiently bad to warrant an insurance claim I had to complete an "accident report". I also do not believe the damage has been repaired, but has simply been noted. Nevertheless I have been billed €480 + €60 admin. Which I will be reclaiming through the cover provided by Auto Europe. "

I have used autoeurope many times over the years and recommended it to many people but this will be the last time I use this service "
