VW Caddy recieved was quite battered and dirty, but drove perfectly, had good quality tyres, was completely reliable and very economical....and took 2 bikes and all our luggage easily. "

" Booked Dacia Dokker or similar with Europcar, collected at airport with voucher no problem. Heart sank when taken to vehicle as it was very battle scarred and high mileage..lots of scratches, dents, 2 whel trims missing and interior worn. However 'Desmond' Dokker served us faultlessly and economically for 2 weeks and hundreds of mile over all types of road carrying 2 adult road bikes which didn't need to be dismantled to fit upright in the cavernous luggage area. Perfect vehicle for our trip. Had to pay 50Dh (£4) on return for cleaning. "

" I am a regular Europcar customer, I have privilige VIP level, this was definitely my worst experience with the company. On arrival at my pick up time the office was not staffed, only some building contractors present. I waited 30 minutes until a member of staff turned up, they did not apologise for being late. They did not have any cars there at the site and they had to send the car from the airport office. I waiting until 12.30 when the car was delivered. The car I was given was the worst car I have ever had from any car rental company, a Fiat Tipo with 77000 km on the clock, with a faulty door. car was 80% full with fuel so hard to return at teh same leve without filling up the tank completely, which obvioulsy cost me more money. Again no apologies for the late delivery of the car. Same issue returning the car as I was not sure that the office would be open as they did not answer the phone. I complained again abiut the service and the car I recieved and the operator said 'it is not my fault' "

" I don't know how much influence auto europe has with the hire companies, as to the quality of the cars they produce to hire. Do they save the old and marginal vehicles for customers of auto europe? Certainly I have not seen such a sorry bunch of vehicles before, and I travel a lot. As you can see from my altered booking, I changed from the cheapest company whose name I had never heard before, to Europcar, because they are an international company. That did not seem to help. "
" The car was picked up at Marrakech airport and having parked it up at a Hotel near the airport, drove the next day to Essaouira. 176km. The next morning the car would not start. Like the battery was flat but clearly not because the electrics were all fine. I managed to start it and drove around for 20 minutes. Parked back at the hotel and it wouldn't restart. Spend best part of the rest of the morning with staff member, trying to get some answer from Europcar, and finally got a some people from Europcar Essaouira. They managed to get it started by pushing it down the road. They offered me the car they had come with. It was very dirty, inside and out and had no cover over the luggage space. I said I didn't want to keep it. They said I would have to drive to Agadir to replace it. 176km. It was replaced by a Fiat saloon with performed sufficiently. "

" I got an upgrade to a Toyota Yaris Hybrid with 0 excess for £80 extra. There was not a single panel of the car not damaged, the right rear view mirror was shattered, front and rear wheel arch liners missing..... I wouldn't have bothered with the upgrade if I'd have seen the car before paying "

" We turned up and experienced a variety of extra costs as well as a deposit of £1,350 which was debited from my account. On return we were told it was in fine condition, though the two counters hadn't. communicated that it had been debited. So took an age for him to get through to the original man for confirmation. I still have not received my £1,350 despite being told I should. "
