" As above disappointing first contact. Had to wait 2hrs to collect or pay an additional day.....strangely when I return it 2hrs early I don't get a days refund! "

" Disappointing first impression. Flight arrived early but despite car being available I was told I had to wait 1hr 50mins to collect it or pay for an additional day. The car provided was marked as no damage yet had numerous chips and was scratched on the rear wheel arch. Having had to return to the counter I was told "okay I'll just sign it as signed out as you indicate" and never even checked it. I assume it being a one way rental they weren't too concerned. Brakes were a little grubby but otherwise the car was very good. "

" This is the 2nd time we have used EZi and as beforeeverything went smoothly with EZi on pick up and drop off (although the car rental drop off in Auckland is not the easiest to find). Our only complaint is with the car, a Ford Focus. This is not a criticism with EZi but it is not a model of car we would ever choose again. "

" I (and another customer) was given incorrect information about where to go to pick up the car and as a consequence had to walk down a busy road with out a footpath. There was no place to drop off keys at the car drop off location and I had to walk back to the main desk in the terminal. "

" Unfair responsibilities placed on customers to check cars for damage "

" The cars paperwork was incomplete the condition paperwork did not indicate all the damage on the car there was a long line of customers returning to advise their paperwork and condition survey was incorrect The counter staff seemed to rely on customers completing condition survey which questions the motive of ezi they place great importance on ensuring damage is recorded or yr excess would be used to repair this places the responsibility on customers to protect the excess ezi should be more honest and diligent in checks "

" The process was quick and easy. The car was smooth to drive and filling up with petrol was not a problem, plenty of petrol stations around. We had also hired GPS which was very useful on unfamiliar roads. However we felt it needed updating as it sometimes struggled to know where we were and did like to suggest a route off of the highway when it wasn't necessary. "

" The mini bus arrived quickly at the airport to pick us up and take us to collect the car. Staff were helpful and efficient. On return, handback was quick and as we were not flying that day they called a taxi for us. "

" Only reason I will not use EZI again is the EZI sticker in the rear windscreen. Like most renters I leave a vehicle in some fairly remote car parks in and out of town. These stickers tell everyone that I am a vulnerable tourist and the vehicle could be full of my worldly travel kit. I fully understand EZI needs to commercially advertise but not with me as bait. I always remove these stickers and have done so for forty years of travelling. I have met many other renters who also do this. "

" Form what I remeber your website was a little complicated but in the end I got what I wanted. "

" I was really pleased with the customer service I received from the Ezi Auckland centre ( I believe from Mr Smith) There was no upselling pressure and everything was explained clearly and readily. The car was modern and clean, although there was a rattle from the dashboard that often became annoying less smooth road surfaces. Drop-off at Auckland airport was straightforward although the operative who checked the car over didn't bother to let me know that all was well. I waited about 15min enquiring, being told that if he hadn't returned to tell me of a problem all was well! However, this doesn't detract from my overall experience, Ezi provided me with excellent service at an sensible price. "

" The booking system was ood and the link to the car supplier in NZ was efficient. "

" The Subaru Forester we rented was old with over 150,000 kms on the clock. The engine performed really well on our 6000 km trip and hardly missed a beat. There was plenty of space for passengers and luggage. We did have problems regarding the car. Part of perished the plastic trim broke off as we were travelling along the road and the rubber sealing strip for the windscrean was loose and partly flapped in the wind at regular intervals. This was fixed, free of charge at a windscreen repair shop when we had a stone chip fixed. Towards the end of the trip there was a whining soud coming from the front drive mechanism and we did wonder whether we would make it to the airport. It was in need of a service. We were, overall, satisfied with the car "

" Having a freephone number was definitely beneficial as there were quite a number of things which needed to be sorted out due to the booking confirmation not being finalised online. "
