" Auto Europe is a good website to compare car rentals Always satisfied with the reservations that they make Unfortunately Hertz was not up to standard from what you would expect from such a big name in the car rental industry "
" Needed to wait one hour at the desk because there was a line and not enough staff at an international airport you would expect differently Second, if you have a reservation with all your details, there should be an a reservation desk special for these people so they don't have to wait as long Third, the car was very dirty inside I have never rented a car that was so dirty inside "

" Booked car for 2.30. As queue at immigration got to Hertz about 3. After few mins I was told no car at the moment. About 8-10 mins later I asked about a car. Informed found car, needs to be washed, wasn't told how long I would have to wait, so gave up and got the train. "

The note I have isfollow- we have stated that we will be traveling outside Belgium, but in reality the mini(smart) did not leave the country. This is evident from the mileage. " After dropping the car we were charged an additional 30.25 Euros on my credit card, which was not accounted for. At the drop out we were told we would be charged for the extra driver, which was 42,35 Euros, as indicated below. But we were not told anything about 30.25 Euros. " Very efficient, freindly staff, 10-15 mins to pick up the car, received an upgrade (no smaller cars avble), smooth check back in and no additional payments! Excellent! "
" Because there was no smaller size car avble, we were upgraded to an automatic SUV (with sat nav). Took about 10 minutes for paperwork at Hertz on arrival, very smooth. Drop off was even more smooth, just handed the keys to the attendent who checked the fuel and mileage, said OK and that was that! No additional payments as we returned the car full (nearby on airport petrol station...very convenient!) "

" The vehicle we received was an upgrade, with no additional charge. So that was good. However the car smelt very much of cigar/cigarette smoke. I did report it as I did not want to be accused of contaminating the vehicle. I was asked if I would prefer a replacement, but accepted the upgraded option. A decision I later regretted as the smell became overpowering. "
