" Several items were broken- TPMS sensors, parcel shelf, numerous marks on car 36,000 kms. I chose Hertz because of the horror stories of insurance add-ons and scams and was disappointed to receive a second rate old beaten up car. Staff were fine but car was not. It didn't break down but I was expecting a much better car considering the price- the most expensive car I have ever hired in a country that is supposed to be the cheapest place in Europe to hire a car! "

" First time I have experienced a car rental company trying to charge you the parking when coming out of the car park after picking the car up!! I finally made them pay but you should not have to go through this hassle. Also, when giving me back the deposit on my credit card, they had to charge me £0.01....They could not do otherwise apparently!!! First time, it also happened to me. It is not the amount which bothers me, it is the principle! These 2 experiences left me with a bad impression. I have rented many cars over the last 20 years and it is the 1st time this happened to me. "
" Why, oh why, are all car rental company reps so amazingly miserable when you turn up at the counter? All companies are bad and Hertz was no better or worse than most. So sad! I'd like to think that visitors to the UK get a nicer welcome than we do, wherever in Europe we collect a car. For heaven's sake, thell the buggers to be more cheerful! "

" very helpful, informative and friendly; They were excellent; car was... ok (ish) . Remote locking did not work which was difficult when using non-driver side. I had to unlock driver side and run around to open the other door and run around to lock (as non driver door had not got lock); "
" Not a Yaris. Well used car, unexpected for a Hertz brand vehicle. Nearly 80,000 kilos on clock. Lots of unrepaired scrapes and minor damage all around the lower edges and bumpers of the car both at the front and rear. Less so or the doors, just a few minor dents and the odd scrape. Cigarette burn on passenger seat. Car ran reliably enough though. Not supplied full of fuel. The usual Podgorica Airport seven eights full. Had to complain before local agent accompanied me to local petrol station to fill up the car ( at Hertz's agent expense ). Quick pick up and drop off, but recording the amount of previous damage slowed the process slightly. Otherwise OK "

" Due to a very long flight delay and arriving at a different airport, we were transported to Tivat by coach arriving at midnight. The very charming and helpful rep brought the car to us himself regardless of the late hour. He was extremely polite and helpful which was much appreciated as we were very tired. "
