" We are usually very happy with your service but to then have to email and get in touch with our credit card to get refund is not great "

" It took overtwo hours to get to be served atthe counter. This wasn't the staff members's fault - there was only one of her and she was doing her best. But it took 30 minutes per customer. When it was our turn - after two hours - she found out that our car needed to be filled with petrol. This took another 30 minutes. Then we were given the choice of a huge excess or paying £240 more for proper insurance. So the total bill was more than £900. I'm fed up with being ripped off like this. Why don't your prices include proper insurance? I pay this amount fo insurance for a year! Does any one read these comments? "

" Fantastic all round experience. Only issue is extending the rental period is not possible when you book thru a broker. You either have to pay much higher rate if you extend by a day which I did or you have to return the car and start again from zero. "

" If the cost of zero excess stays low more people will use it to avoid arguments with collection and delivery staff. I have always preferred a zero excess rental "

" Overall very pleased with the car and the hire process, except there was no joint-inspection of the car at the start, which could have led to unfair charges being applied. "
" The Counter staff member at Jerez airport was helpful and friendly. We were handed the keys at the counter and nobody came with us to the car or gave us a condition sheet of the car, which I thought was odd. When we reached the car we notice that one side had been scratched (with e.g. a key) so we decided to video the state of the car in case there was an issue later. The car was excellent, very new, and we experienced no issues with it throughout the hire. When we returned it at Malaga airport the Drop-Off staff member arrived quickly and was very efficient, but she immediately pointed out the scratch. So I showed her the video and its date, which she accepted as proof. However if I hadn't made the video in the first place, we would have been landed with a bill for pre-damage to the car. So in future a staff member should accompany to the car and inspect it jointly at the start of the hire. "

" I have already provided feedback to this but, 3 points : 1) I had to provide additional information about scratches on the car before leaving Jerez Airport. 2) The computer system was down when I picked up the car so everything had to be done manually. 3) On returning the car there was a notice on the desk saying 'Back in 15 mins' but it did not say when from ! "

" The original sterling rate was £15.09 for a weeks rental - excellent. "
" Firefly charged a 21.08 Euro service charge in addition to 56.98 Euros for fuel. Why did Autoeurope not tell me this would be applied? On a positive note Firefly refunded the 56.98 fuel cost because I return the car full - they kept the service charge. On final payment they debited my credit card in Pounds Sterling not Euros without asking me. This gave me an inferior exchange rate. "
