" Getting the car from the airport was fine till I was told that I had to pay a cleaning fee at the end of the hire of 10 euros. I said that this was not mentioned in my booking and I would look it up. As I collected the car, there was a large dent on the front bumper that was not on the paperwork. I then had to find someone to check it and sign it off. This was a big inconvenience to them but got it sorted. On return of the car I took the keys back to a man in a van who I hoped was working for Green Motion. I went back to the reception to find out about this cleaning charge as I hire a lot of cars and this is the first time I have heard of this. I was told I have to pay it as it is in my contract and even if I don't pay now we will take it out of your deposit. Well, they did not just take €10 they then charged me for damage to the car to the sum of €396. There was a scratch under the rear bumper which I couldn't of done as I didn't reverse this car at all as I parked on a grass yard and also what looked like scratches from a bush that were very faint but also charged for them even though they were there when I picked up the car. " Unfriendly staff when receiving the car. The staff were in a van and didn't get out until I knocked on the door window. When picking up the car there was 11 scratches on the car already marked on damage info and when we walked around the car I sore another 5 scratches which was added to the damage sheet. I think if i didn't see and add the extra scratches to the damage sheet i would have been charged for them too. This company makes money on ridiculous extra charges for damages we haven't made. When coming to drop off the car the was no one there to check the condition of the car and sign paper work. " Firstly the car we booked they didn't have so had a Toyota Corolla instead of Nissan duke which we reserved. Didn't want to wait longer so accepted this. Also paid extra £15 for car to be cleaned by them after drop off. They said no smoking in the car, I had one or two during the 5 days of rental, when we returned the car they said they could see ash in the car and it smelt of smoke, really after 2 cigarettes? They charged me an extra £150 for a chemical clean on the car which I thought was ridiculous, won't ever book with them again , my advise is to pay a little more and go with a big company as these little companies do everything they can to extract as much extra money from you. £150 is a joke. I won't be using them again, if you do just realise they will be doing everything they can to extract money from you. If you do forget and have a cigarette then get the car cleaned inside and spray some air-fresher inside before giving it back "

" 1. The rental was advertised by Autoeurope as Full to Full fuel, but the car was only 75% full on pick-up making it hard to judge how much fuel to put in the tank at the end of the rental. This was annoying, particularly as Full to Full was listed as a specific part of the rental deal. 2. There was a cleaning policy in place which I was not made aware of in advance. When I picked up the car Green Motion said they either required the car to be returned newly washed and ready to go out to the next customer or I could opt to pay 15 euros for them to wash the car upon it's return. I opted to pay the 15 euros. I should have been made aware of this at the time of booking the rental. The voucher only makes mention of a surcharge if the car is returned excessively dirty. The rental was still good value and I would have been completely happy if I had been prepared in advance by Green Motion and/or Autoeurope being upfront about the above. But on both counts I felt "conned" because the rental was not as advertised, and I was required to pay extra. "

" We chose Primerent over another company as they didn't have an out of hours charge attached to the rental, they also had a full to full fuel policy. Neither of these options were adhered to. When we picked the car up at 7 pm, we were charged 20 euro for out of hours pickup plus 20 for declaring we would drive into Lithuania. The fuel gauge was on less then quarter full and we were told to return it with the same amount. As anyone with experence in this area knows, that is quiet difficult to acheive and we ended up giving it back with half a tank of fuel. It is the first time that we were warned that if the car came back dirty we would charged 15 euro, and though the car wasn't particularly dirty, we had it cleaned before we handed it back. "

Thankfully the airport information desk was open and it was they who found a telephone number and informed me that I should call a number to arrange a pick up from the airport. It would have been helpful if this information was provided on my booking document. Upon arrival at the rental office i was told by the girl working there that she had given my car to someone else and that there was not another car available. I was then told in 10 minutes and a car would be available. This turned out to be a wait of 45 minutes which I was not in the least pleased with. "

A few minutes later the manager came in his car and drove us to the place where the car was being cleaned. He returned with an upgraded vehicle and let us get on our way. We were of course mega happy with his choice. We had been told that he was the Manager and that he was very nice and that is exactly what we found. So we left and enjoyed a nice week in a nice car. When we returned back to Parking at stupid o'clock in the morning I was expecting some delays or hassle, but not at all. The man there took over the car and loaded us into the Bus and dropped us off.
