" Collection of the vehicle was fine and they allowed us to take it sooner than we'd booked it for. The vehicle wasn't great with chips, scratches and dents on almost every panel. We parked the vehicle up for 3 days during a visit to an island and on our return it wouldn't start due to a flat battery. It then took 2hrs for someone to bring a battery to jump start the vehicle. I emailed Hawk to tell them we would be late; no response. On returning to the drop off point (same as collection) there was nobody there, so the vehicle couldn't be checked. We waited for as long as we could but, being 2hrs behind schedule, we needed to get to check in for our flight. We left a note with the key in the office to explain what had happened and why we were late but my concern now is that they will find fault with the vehicle (even though there was none) so that the 1500 ringgit deposit won't be returned. "

" Car rental states Honda City or similar, Car I was given was an old VW Vento that had been to the moon and back! I am very angry at that as my orevuous experience with HAWK via Auto Europe was being provided with a new car. This was in December 2013, since then standards have dropped considerably. "

" The drop off experience was far better than the check in process and the guys there were extremely helpful and friendly. The driver car seat was very stained when we picked it up (looked like salty sweat) and it was an old vehicle (it had done 60,000+ miles with a boot door with no working spring so you could not load luggage easily - but it was otherwise OK. The experience could have been improved if they had told us where we could have found petrol near the airport as there are not many petrol stations nearby to fill up. "
" Our first impressions were not great as there was no one on the desk and we did not have any local phone to call them and it costs a fortune for us to make a call in Malaysia. A woman from another agency tracked the guy down for us. It took a while to get the rental agreement set up but the agent did escort us to the vehicle which was very helpful. "

" Hi In the end happy but on pick up our car was not available. Another car was being driven over to us from elsewhere. Waited for 40 mins. That car turned up and clearly hadn't been prepped for going out again. It then turned out that car's tax would run out during our rental. They suggested they would meet us during our stay and swap cars but this wasn't practical. In the end we got a slightly upgraded car that was available. All in it took at least an hour of faffing about at collection. Lady at the desk was doing her best and no one got upset but really no excuse for not having the car booked and ready to go! "
