" The actual car rental mega drive was very good but auto europe is a big disappointment for not being able to confirm my booking up until 3 hours before the rental and I was already on the flight so I had to do a new booking and in the end both bookings were confirmed and charged twice, I'm not sure how they expect me to to board my flight without a confirmed booking, so mega drive is all good auto Europe is not good "

" My booking was processed twice as was the money collected so by mistake. Once noticed ot was quickly rectified. Good value service "

" Swift, courteous effective pick up and drop off. Clean car but no Bluetooth so calling or using GPS legally while driving was an issue. Other than that great value and good location. Thanks. "

" Easy booking, good communication and very competitive "

" Had trouble with setting the GPS to english, took nearly 1 hour to get it sorted. 3rd time using megadrive, and always a satisfied customer but it seems no matter what car (or similar) you book, (we booked a Ford Focus or similar), you are always offered a skoda fabia! Or have the option to pay more and get a better car. My advise would be always book the most basic car then take the upgrade. "

" The car was an estate, and just what I ordered. It had approx 24k KM on the clock, and was in good nick inside, however the outside bodywork was in a bit of a sorry state, with lots of scratches, scuffs and little dents. I picked the car up in the dark, and made a point of having Megadrive inspect it before I took it away. Good job I did, as their existing damage sheet didn't show half of the damage, and I reckon I might have been stung with the hefty excess on return. Ive used Megadrive before tho, and have always had a good service tbf. But as a paying customer, and with them holding your credit card details, you've got to be savvy. "

" I had concerns before booking because of the mixed revirews, but overall very happy with the service and the car. Surprised to have a German number plate, but actually it worked in favour as people can see I'm a foreign driver so they where more patient. "

" Staff polite at pick up and drop off, vehicle as expected. Arrived at 8.00 pm(closing time), which is an option for arrival. Not impressed with having to wait for keys to be brought up by staff in car park on their way home and also having to wait for customer behind me to complete booking and receive keys. Picked up car finally and had to take photo of scratches, as no-one there to hand car over. At pick up small superficial scratch later quoted 508 euros repair. Excessive the least, especially as unless brand new, I never rented a scratch free car, which only suggests to me that these minor damages are never fixed, just charged for. Presumably same with all car rental, a way to make money in competitive market. I think if car rental offers later pickup, experience should be same as any other time. Can't fault staff, polite and as efficient as could be, process and cost of repair brings down rating. "

" I returned the car with a small scuff to wheel trim about the size of 10p for which I was charged 49 Eur. This seems excessive as obviously the part is not actually going to be replaced. And it is just a money making exercise. The car was a Dacia Logan not a Ferrari. Unfortunately this did spoil the car hire experience "
