" I rent more than 10 cars per year. I'm used to the process. But this time it was different. Taking the car,,, Was a rush process, seemed like the person handed over the car did not have Time to do the process, so rushed. The car,,, The worst car I have ever rented,,, Accident repaired car, lots of visible signs of accident, windows doesn't work, wiper was in really bad condition, there was a time we had to stop and wait till the rain was ovee(dark and rail), head lights were aiming at trees not the road, interior boot cover falling off ( we finally left it in hotel) Doors don't close unless you close them really hard,,,, On top of everything the car was not properly cleaned. Car return, The person was trying to charge us for cleaning, when i challenged and asked him to show me where are dirty areas,,,,(the car was in a really clean condition,) he admitted that it's not dirty and no need to charge,,,, But I mentioned all the faults on return, he didn't even bother to listen. I told him this car is not safe, but still he didn't care. Overall the worst car hire experience. "

" The condition of the rental vehicle was the worst we have had anywhere in the world, and in our opinion should not be offered for rental. The entirety of every surface/fabric in the vehicle was marked/stained/scratched/scuffed, and the interior had a very unpleasant odour. The mechanical condition seemed ok; however, the front tyres in particular did not have a large tread depth. To return the car we were asked to WhatsApp an agent who would then meet us at the airport car park. We set a time but no-one was there when we arrived. This meant one of us had to start the check in process and one wait with the car leading to a stressful experience. "

Handed over key to person who arrived at the car as we parked it. No receipted paper work provided and the most casual of external inspections. System open to fraud and an uncomfortable experience. "

" Auto Europe was easy, Thrifty stay well clear in the Seychelles. Go local they appear to have much better safer cars to hire. We will on our next visit. "
" On arrival we had to wait for more than 30 mins for someone to come to the desk, despite my name being up on a board as an arrival. The first cat they gave me was truly shocking to say the least. The state of the outside was horrendous and with multiply dents scratches bits of bodywork missing. I was then given the key and told there you you go. I drove back to the pick up desk (car was in a car park) when I notice the Engine Management light was on and the steering had a fault (drop links, drive shafts or bearings) the Thrifty car guy drove straight off and must of gone home as I has to get one of the other agents from another company to call him back as I was not putting my family in this car. we waited another 20 mins for him to come back and after driving it around the entrance of the Airport to me there was nothing wrong with it that's what all Kia's do. After driving for nearly 30 years, owning 55+ cars and driving on 2 European Car Rallies I can asure you there was a problem with the car. As it was unsafe to drive I requested another one and after some phones calls to the main office the Thrifty guy told me that I would have to wait while another one come from the other side of island. After another 40 mins wait in 30+ degrees heat a car showed up up and was in slighty better condition but not great and at least there was not engine management light on and the steering was ok. I was very dissapointed in the condition of the car when looking around the car park of where I was staying (Eden Island) there were loads of hire cars that looked brand new from various outlets both local and global companies. My car looked as though I had bought a 2nd hand car off a local for £500. Very very dissapointed at Thifty, however I can't hold AutoEurope to account as I guess you would not have known and I have used you guys in the past and may use you again in October 2019 for trip to New York. "
