" On arrival no sign of them at the airport. After wandering about for 10 minutes and then phoning them (phone line really bad, but managed to make out they were on the way). So about a 30-40 minute delay there. Car had a LOT of bumps and scrapes on it but was in good working order. On return they found some cosmetic damage to the rear driver side light fitting (small scratch) that wasn't marked on the sheet. I said it must have been there before but not noted specifically in the MANY other bumps and scrapes all round the car (we had no incidents during the trip despite the unique style of Sri Lankan driving!) They asked if I had insurance, which I said yes to, but again said that the damage wasn't caused by us. I wasn't asked to sign anything other than giving comments on the car so assume that was the end of it. "

" This was a nicelt straightforward way to organise our vehicle rental, which was an integral part of our holiday. The price seemed reasonable, the overall experience was relatively hassle free and I'd certainly look into this way of doing things as and when sorting out another such rental. "
" Overall it worked out very well: although SR Rent were late dropping the car off, we ended up with an upgrade as they did not have the vehicle type/class we had ordered. This was great, but they needed to swap the car towards the end of the rental. The replacement was absolutely fine, but they were five hours later than they said they would be dropping it off, which essentially lost us half a day. Also, watch out for the clause in the agreement saying they need the car back clean: the man picking up the car mentioned this when actually the vehicle could hardly be said to be dirtier than any normal use would suggest. However, they do not appear to have deducted any additional money to pay for cleaning. I have to say I would dispute it anyway and certainly off-set against a total of six hours lateness in delivering vehicles. But the main thing was that it all worked out well enough, especially with that unexpected upgrade! All the people I dealt with on the phone or in person were very friendly and polite and indeed when dropping the car off at the end the driver who came to collect it very kindly gave me a ride back to the guesthouse where I was staying. "
