Farnborough International Airshow 2010
Farnborough Airshow has been on all this week with the main attractions being the new Boeing 787 and the Airbus A400M Miltiary transport plane. The 787 is Boeings fastest selling model with over 800 orders.
Whilst this past week has only been open to trade visitors, this weekend it is open to the public. It is a great day out for all the family with children under 16 getting in for free! There are flight simulators so you can experience being in the cockpit of a Spitfire or Red Arrows Hawk Trainer. For the kids there are fairground rides, bouncy castles and face painting.
Watch the amazing displays of the Red Arrow and the Red Devils as well as flyby's by such classics as the Lancaster and Hawk TI. There are exhibits from all of the major avionic companies such as British Aerospace, Boeing, TAG Aeronautics and Martin Baker.
Tickets for the show are £30 on the day and parking is free.
