Friday Drivetime - Driving Songs when You've Split (Part 2)
As mentioned last week, this week we are looking at Ultimate 'Break Up' Driving Songs for guys. I have a lot of male friends who I've asked about this subject, however their answers were somewhat lacking emotion, such as: 'She dumps me? I'll just go down to the pub!' In fact this was the only answer I got, in one form or another. So, do guys actually listen to songs when they are trying to mend a broken heart? Or, as my research suggests, do they head down to the nearest bar and order a shot or two of Tequila? My straw-poll suggests that it's drinking all the way, so instead of our usual Friday Drivetime Songs, I thought I would list the Top Ten London Bars for guys to try when they are trying to mend (or forget!) a broken heart.Top Ten Bars in London
The Comedy Store - A great way to mend a broken heart is to laugh! London Piccadilly
Match EC1 - Regarded as the Best Cocktail Bar in London
Funky Buddha Lounge - Mayfair, London
Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese - London's Oldest Pub built in 1667, Fleet Street
Revolution Vodka Bar - Clapham, Chiswick and Soho
Edinboro Castle - Large Tree-lined Garden and Barbecue just off Camden High Street
Shochu Lounge - Slick Japanese Style Bar, Charlotte Street, London
Attic - London's Highest Cocktail Lounge on the 48th Floor! London Docklands
Ben Crouches Tavern - Located just off Oxford Street with The Addams Family Shots and Seven Deadly Sins Cocktail Range
Tattershall Castle - A permanently moored boat on Victoria Embankment with a view of the London Eye and Houses of Parliament.
Obviously these are just some of the pubs and bars in London and there are thousands more to choose from all over the country. Can anyone recommend any others which could be good to mend a broken heart? One final thought, please remember not to drink and drive!
