Smoke signals and carrier pigeons: how best to get in touch

For us here at Auto Europe, making sure our clients are taken care of is crucial. To that end, we believe that communication is key to running a successful operation. If our clients have a problem with a rental, we want to hear about it. If our clients have questions or doubts, we want to hear about it. If our clients take funny holiday pictures and want to share it, we want to hear about it! But what is the best way to get in touch?

    Customer Service
    E-mail: customerservice@auto-europe.co.uk
Phone: +44 123 3225 114 (If you are not in the UK, you can click here for telephone numbers from Europe)
When should you contact them: If you have any issues with a past rental.
Tips: To save time, you can send them your hire documentation straight away. This will include items such as the rental agreement, check-in/check-out reports, any receipts, final invoice and - if relevant - the credit card statement for any charges (you should, however, make sure you blank out any sensitive information). If customer service needs to investigate a claim, these are things they will need from you, and by sending it in to begin with, you'll be saving them and yourself time.
Attention: Our Customer Service department is open from 9am - 1pm on business days, so if you need to give them a call you should try in the morning. Normally it is preferable to send them an e-mail and as soon as they can, they will get back to you. We try to get back to our clients as soon as possible, but if there is a backlog of emails, the response times may take a little longer than advised. Even so, every single email sent from a client to customer service will be looked at by a CS representative, who will then get back to you.

    Reservations
    Phone: +44 123 3225 114
Open: Monday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 21:30.
When should you contact them: If you want to hire a car, naturally, but also if you experience any issue with a rental still in progress. Since the Reservations department also deals with issues regarding present hires, it is open 7 days a week, all year round - unlike Customer Service, whose issues aren't as time-dependant.
Tips: Make sure you have your voucher number with you. The voucher number identifies your booking and allows our phone agents to quickly find it in our system.

    Social Media
Twitter (For the concise) Facebook (For the long-winded) or Google+ (If you happen to be a Google employee)
Monitored on weekdays, roughly from 7am to 4pm (Though times may vary, so you may get a reply outside of that schedule. On weekends, it is unlikely, but not impossible that you should get a reply.)
When should you contact us: When you want to share awesome holiday pictures or when you have questions or doubts regarding any of our services.
Attention: If you want a quote, much as we would like to help, we will have to direct you to either to the booking engine on our site or to our telephone number +44 123 3225 114.
Double attention: If you have an issue with a past booking, we will try to advise you on how best to proceed, but that will often include directing you to Customer Service, since they are expert problem-solvers and can help you in ways that we cannot.Regardless of how you get in touch with us, it is always important to mention your voucher number, so we can find you on our system. If you are contacting us regarding a problem with a rental, we also need a clear and detailed description of what the issue is, with as much information as possible so we can help you solve the problem in the most efficient way possible.
