With the end of August, the busiest summer travel season is slowly drawing to a close. But even outside the high season, top Spanish destinations draw tourists in huge numbers. To some travellers' possible dismay, airport workers in Spain have called strikes during four days this September, as reported by travelweekly.co.uk.
Airports in some of the most popular Spanish destinations, Alicante, Malaga, Mallorca, Barcelona and Madrid, are expected to be affected. The threatened strikes are due to take place on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of September, from 4.30 am to 7.30 am and 7.30 am to 9.30 pm.
Your airline is likely to be able to provide information on whether your flight will be affected. Remember that if you need to make any changes to your car hire booking with us, please contact our reservations department as soon as possible.
