    The best of Boston

Boston; not quiet the holiday hotspot that springs to mind when choosing a location, however you will be surprised on what this beautiful city has to offer! The city of Boston is located in the state of Massachusetts and is one of the oldest cities in the USA, plus the largest city in New England. This is why you will never be short of attractions to visit and things to do with your Boston car hire.

A great place to start is down by the harbour front. You can enjoy a walk along one of the many tourist trails, stopping off at museums where you can learn just how Boston made its mark in the USA maritime history books. The harbour has some great beaches for taking the family to and lovely green parks great for relaxing and admiring the nature around you. Why not hop on a boat and head out into the sea to watch the whales at play?

Back in the city centre you have a wealth of museums and cultural sites to choose from. The Old South Meeting House is the location of the famous Boston Tea Party and the Old State House Museum is the oldest surviving public house in Boston. The nightlife is definitely not to be missed; you have the choice of bar hopping or heading for the lively clubs!

Make the most of your USA car hire and venture out to explore more of the beautiful state. Drive to one of the fantastic wineries, they are located from the ocean front right back into the countryside. You can head for Lexington, the town was the site of the first shot from the American Revolution and the town is decorated with historic landmarks. If you are feeling adventurous you could even drive into another state; a drive to the Big Apple would take you around 5 hours.

Have you been to Boston, are there any places you would recommend that are worth a visit?
