" Car was not clean. Had visible damages to both sides. Not what you may expect from reputable car hire company. Upon arrival waited for staff to turn up for 40 mins to then hear that they may not have the car ready as it was a greater then normal demand (potential overbooking). "

" Initially the car hire process was good on collection, no problems...i needed a car for an 8 hour journey to Odessa from Kiev. .but the satnav i paid forxasxan extra was very out of date and would not find many of my smaller destinations on route....the in car stereo worked for about 2 hours but then suddenly stopped, so you can imagine a long drive with no stereo music and an out of date satnav...was not impressed...on my return to hand the car back with a flight to catch, no one was in the Budget kiosk, i waited and waited....thankfully i was able to drop it to another car rental business member if staff (not Budget) but was not able to get any redress on the issues related above nor a partial refund.....i was told the Budget member of staff had overslept but was on her way in....not the best practise when you have issues to address and a flight to catch....so In this instance i would NOT be recommending Budget....can you please pass my comments to Budget, in the hope i will get a partial refund...thank you... "

" When returning the car I had to pay a fine for 2 reasons: 1. The fuel tank wasn't full up to the top. I explained to the service representive that I have filled it till the end, but the screen ontop of the stearing wheel showed one line missing. I even showed him a picture I took right after filling the tank, because I was afraid he wouldn't believe me. But the reprsentive wasn't willing to listen! 2. When going into the parking lot of budget in Kiev airport I apparently was supposed to take a ticket, I didn't know I needed to do so. The barrier was open so I just went in. So I got a fine for not showing a ticket to the representive! "

" I really like this company, and 2nd time of use. Great staff, however it needs clarifying what happens in case of breakdown. I was lucky my petrol cap was found to be broke near airport. When i called they stated they dont have Breakdown? What happens if i was 100s of miles away and breakdown? "

On picking-up check the agent did not notice the spot on the saet, so on the dropp-off the agent first wanted to chanrge for that, but then was satisfied with explanation. On the dropp-off should wait for 5-10 mins for the agent to appear in the office. The rental contract says: Petrol 98; however there is no Petrol 98 stations found in that reghion of Ukraine; had to figure out that Petrol 95 is OK as well. "
