" The vehicle only had less than half a tank of petrol upon pickup, rude drivers both at the pickup and return, charged me £350 for a tiny scratch that I believe has there when I picked up the vehicle but didn't see, plus I returned the vehicle with 3/4 of a tank of petrol and wasn't re embursed any more as it was alot more than I received upon pickup. I was absolutely disappointed with every aspect of this experience. "

" I liked that I could pay the balance before, so paperwork was minimal and I did not have to pay in the local currency (after it was badly exchanged to euros first then Hungarian forint from British pounds). "
" Pick up from the airport was 20-30 minutes and also had to wait at the desk for another 20-30 minutes as only one clerk available. Car was good, needed £2,000 deposit or £20/day insurance from the company. Drop off was quick, but received no paperwork at all, apart from a verbal it was all ok. If things go wrong the charges are very high like admin fee of £100 for traffic penalties or overtime fee of £90 (presume if you collect the car outside of normal business hours). "

AutoEurope failed to say on the paperwork that meet and greet actually means contact Usave by telephone and let them know you have arrived. Over an hour was wasted trying to sort this out. Apart from this, Usave were very good and efficient. "

" On arrival at Budapest there was no one to meet us from USave as has been the case in the past, and as stated on the autoeurope voucher, the telephone lines to USave were not connecting, so I had to contact autoeurope, the call handler, kept repeating the process shown on the voucher, she could not grasp that there was a problem, eventually she said she would could contact USave and connect me to them, she did not understand that there lines were not working, so we were cut off immediately she tried to connect me. I called back and explained the situation again and pointed out that I had done this many times in the past and not had a problem. She repeated what the process was again.... eventually she found a mobile number for USave and connected me successfully!! When i got to the USave office they advised that the collection changed in early 2020, and that autoeurope had been advised many many times, but autoeurope have still not changed the information on the vouchers. YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR VOUCHERS FOR USAVE AT BUDAPEST AIRPORT!!!! "

" The pick us was really good, however there was only one person serving at the counter which resulted in a 20 minute wait, when we were finally served he told us the only problem with the vehicle was somebody stole the hubcaps which was entered on the form however on inspection of the car the rear offside light was clearly damaged and was then entered on the form, had I not checked the car this would have resulted in a problem on returning the car, in my opinion not checking the car properly by Usave could have resulted in being charged for damage which wasn't caused by use. "

" Inaccurate statement on fuel policy for uSave. Not absolutely clear (to me) that uSave were not based at the airport. "
" Missed the fact that uSave are not airport based as this was a last minute booking. Had to make a local call (Hungary) from my UK mobile to question where our pick up was from the airport and then wait 15 minutes for them to arrive. The car was satisfactory but had two major areas of damaged paintwork. AutoEurope voucher details stated fuel would be Full to Full but the car was empty and was to be returned empty necessitating an immediate trip to a garage and an impossible task to avoid spending on unused fuel. Since returning to the UK I have been billed by uSave when everything was prepaid but have not received an invoice to explain why. "

" I'm satisfied overall but during the order process I seen a possibility to extend the insurance against the excess and missed. Later I couldn't amend the hiring and get it although there is a chance to amend the order but it's only for child seats, satnav, etc. Related to child seats I also didn't understand why they are as expensive to hire as the car. The car I hired was around 11£/day and two child seats would have tripled (!!!) the hiring fee. But apart from these the system works well and the prices are affordable. "
" They sent a car with two seats for four of us for picking up from the airport. The driver didn't stop moaning about the "bad" clients' habits in front of me all the time. Counter staff's behaviour was just acceptable but no any kindness. The way back was much better that's why I gave average rating. I have experienced the same behaviour in Hungary everywhere but it cannot be an excuse. "

" Usave is in the business of fleecing customers. They charged us 64 plus VAT 27% euros for taking the car out of hungary which is unknown in europe and was not mentioned in the terms and conditions. We were 2 drivers, when the credit card of the main driver was not working, i offered mine. They charged us 15 euros for using secondary driver's card. I asked them to make me main driver in that case but they said charge will remain even in that case. I also asked them to not cut extra charges from my deposit card but i will pay them separately with a euro card I had since my deposit credit card was in GBP and has hefty charges. they refused to do that as well. "

" It took 2 hours for me to get the car - I requested to pick the car up at Budapest East Railways station at 10:00. No-one there, phoned the office, there was only one person in the office and very busy, eventually someone picked me up and took me to the office a few miles away, eventually got the car. Fine after that. Drop off was the complete opposite - could not have been quicker. "

" I was under the impression I was getting an unlimited mileage car, I have now been charged €120 approximately for extra mileage where using there figures I did an extra 320 kilometers at €0.25 a kilometers is €80, they would also not stick to the contract I had to take the car to there depot instead o f dropping it of at east station? Not at all happy "

" Hi I was very happy to use Usave, staff were efficient, friendly and quickly picked us up. paperwork was very good to save time and Marka the manager at USave was very good, he gave us a brand new car to drive although it was smaller than the car we expected Suzuki Vitara. none the less car was really enjoyable to ride, drop off was very quick and transfer to the airport. will definitely use and recommend Usave again. however a friend of mine managed ot hire a car for the same time period / journey from Herts for only £60 - same size car "
