" I have to mention that the Wheego pick-up address in the voucher is incorrect and given as WARSAW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DESK IN COURTYARD MARRIOTT. However, the Wheego desk was located in the nearby Renaissance Hotel hall. Arriving there, I found an empty Wheego desk and a few young men chatting outside. They noticed me waiting in front of the desk but ignored it. Later, one of them approached the Company desk after seeing me walking back towards the Hotel's reception. He did not introduce himself, had no badge with his name and did not even say sorry for making me unreasonably wait. I politely introduced myself, informed him about my reservation, and we proceeded with the paperwork. Opposing my original reservation, the agent offered a smaller, less comfortable and enjoyable Toyota Yaris Cross instead of a pre-paid Toyota CHR, without alternatives. Unfortunately, the first offered car was faulty and displayed the warning: "the hybrid system failed, contact the dealer". Consequently, I addressed the issue to the same agent, who came to the car and tried unsuccessfully to restart the vehicle a few times. Then, the mentioned member of staff took the car keys and walked towards his desk without saying anything. I had to persuade him and seek his decision regarding the situation. He offered another similar car without any apologies for the inconvenience caused. Fortunately, the second Toyota Yaris Cross was in good technical condition and fairly clean. I had no problem driving it. The drop-off process went smoothly, and it took just a few minutes, as I had detailed pictures of the rental vehicle. The agent (another one) was polite and communicative. "

" The whole experience was awful, they would not take a deposit in a debit card or a credit card (no where on the paperwork did it say you had to have a physical CC) through apple pay, so I had to pay for full insurance and a full tank of petrol, I then could not get out of the car park with the ticket provided, so had to re-park the car and go back to the desk. The instructions for returning were not clear, I was told not to park the car where I had picked it up, but in outside parking at departures, which I did, when dropping off they key they said this was wrong, that I needed to go and pay for the time parked and move the car to the designated area. I refused. "

Their very negative reviews on Trust Pilot are more accurate and warranted. Wheego will ruin the reputation of Autoeurope. Therefore, you should definitely severe any association with Wheego. "
" My wife rented a car from wheego.com early July 2024 for 3 days. When she returned the vehicle, they scrutinised the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and found a 1mm (yes, 1mm) scratch on the bumper, which may have even been present when my wife rented the car. She was charged £400 by wheego.com which was deducted from her credit card. Fortunately, she had a car excess policy via securerefunds.com, who were super efficient at dealing with her claim and was refunded within 1 day. All I can say is that wheego.com are scammers and rip off merchants- DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY to rent vehicles. You will get charged an extortionate amount of money for so called damage that you probably did not commit. You have been warned!! "

Nowhere on booking did it say that my credit card needed to have my full first name listed on the front, in order to be valid for a deposit. " Documentation told us to expect a person waiting by the information desk in arrivals with a sign with our name on it. There was noone. After waiting for 45 minutes, we rang several times and we're instructed to walk out of the airport to a bus stop and wait for a bus. We had to wait a further hour for this bus to take us to the car rental desk. We got our car more than 2 hours after our flight landed. We then had an issue at the desk and I have been trying to call auto Europe for days to speak to someone but everyone I call asks me to press another number when I dial. "

" After some delay at checkout, in rush I received a normal petrol car, instead a more expensive hybrid for which I paid. It was clearly procured in rush, had a baby seat which I not required,, etc.. I drove off in rush and complained later by phone and email. Wheego staff did acknowledge a mistake, apologised for not having the right car at the right time, blaming late return from other customer I think. After considering my complaint Wheego's manager Pawel issued me a small good-will compensation. Summarising - not exactly stellar, but pretty good for the budget price operator. Wheego also went quite some way being quite decent in view of the hassle caused. "
