" Auto Europe arranged the car hire with a company that has proved to be dishonest. Auto Europe should investigate the operations of Alamo at Belfast Airport. I doubt I am alone in this poor service provision. "

" Alamo charged me for a full tank of fuel upon return of the vehicle even although I agreed to the top up option at the arrivals desk. I have contacted them but to date my complaint has been rejected. I feel checked and lied to by their staff members who served me. I am very annoyed! "

" The one thing missing from our options was the cost of adding a second driver. In the event, for Alamo, it would have cost £18 per calendar day, so £144. That is so ridiculous, we didn't bother. You need to twist their arm to make that available at a reasonable rate. "

" Counter staff at pickup very friendly, but cars were being processed as soon as they were returned and they didn't have a car for us in a reasonable time. From joining the Enterprise queue, it was more than one hour before we had a car. "

" My flight had been delayed, so I contacted Auto Europe & informed you of this & was told that someone would be on hand at the check in desk to meet myself & make sure that I could pick up the hire car! Only upon my arrival at the desk there was nobody in attendance & I was informed by another person that they had left & gone home & because of this I lost 1days rental on the vehicle I had hired, not only that but I had to make some further arrangements with the accommodation which I had booked & I also had to contact a relative of my own to pick me up from the airport at great inconvenience & distress to this person as it was so very late at night! I then had to make further arrangements with this same relative to then come & pick me up & take me to the airport in order for myself to then get the hire car from Auto Europe & again this was at very great inconvenience & distress for my relative! I had, upon returning the vehicle to the car hire office, discussed the matter with the manager, I can not recall his name, who was in attendance at the time & who was very helpful & attentive to my plight! I was told that by way of recompense that I would receive a discount of up to 20% off my next car hire & also a free upgrade! I was also told that I would receive an email with regards to this, I have received an email but it is not what I expected & was told that I would receive as it only requested that I fill in this survey! I am very disappointed & very angry about this whole situation at the moment! "

" Excess insurance is not with car hire company but with Autoeurope, therefore still need large excess block on credit card. This is not highlighted in the hire agreement and causes issues at the point of hiring the vehicles. "

On return the staff member started to imply that existing scuffs and scratches might be my responsibility. In the event he accepted my assurances that there was no new damage and my deposit was returned to my credit card. The promised email receipt, however, did not materilaise. "

" I paid about £60 for the car hire initially! I got an offer to up-grade (I think it was about £50 again) and to get (what presented as) full comprehensive insurance. This was not the case! Ended up paying another £40 per day fully com as I had to add another driver at a cost also if £10 per day (this was previously stated). And also got charged another £20 for some premium of where the car was hired (in Belfast). Absolutely disgusted with the whole carry on! "

" Not told any of these details prior to rental. Airport collection to be truthful was a nightmare and details for collection were obscure on Auto Europes voucher. Milan Airport car collection and return signage very poor as no where on any paperwork did the car hire companies name appear Locauto , but this is the name on signage etc. "

" Arrived late for pick because of transfer from different terminal and we were greeted by the words , your car has been cancelled. Eventually got replacement vehicle, not one ordered. On returning vehicle could not find fuel station in order to top up tank to full. Eventually went out again looking to top fuel up after being told extortionate penalty for 10 euros of fuel in the tank to completely fill vehicle. "

" A bit concerned as I am made a booking over the phone and did not receive an email confirmation. A few days later I phoned Auto Europe and the person on the phone could not find my booking. Eventually he found the booking but the email address was a wrong one. THis person then amended the email and sent me my voucher and confirmation. "

" The service I received from Enterprise was excellent. The only thing I disliked was the fact you took the money for the rental at the time of booking (even though it was done months in advance) and you took the excess charge at the time of collecting the car. Very quick to take but not very quick to refund the excess, I also put additional petrol in the car which I am sure they will not off set against my costs - disappointing but better than running out of fuel in the middle of no where. "

" We did not see anyone from ALAMO, desk was empty in the airport, queue at Enterprise so we made our way around to the Enterprise depot / collection point. Very good service from Enterprise - it would have been nice to get a map with the car - Satnav only really works if you know where you are going not if you want to explore. "
