" The MG car had over 66,000km on the clock and had lots of bumps and scratches. The screen jet water tank was empty and there were 2 holes in the carpet in front of the drivers seat. I was expecting a newer car in better condition and properly prepared and maintained. The car though was reliable and did not let us down. "

" The reason for the poor score is that when I went to collect the car I was told that my 'profile ' was blocked, and they refused to rent me a car. A friend travelling with me had to make a new booking at a cost of almost £300. So I'm not likely to recommend you am I? I have used your company a few times; I reported this to you the day after it happened (May 15th) and as of today (May 20th) nobody has been in touch. I have since discovered that the 'blocked profile' was an error by Europcar, I have sent them emails with confirmation proving this. It was very stressful, inconvenient and expensive, and I will be looking to you for reimbursement. "

" In addition to our check in expereince.... after we left the airport and driving along the motorway we noticed the petrol indicator was not at full it was a little under. we though it not worth bothering with and returning to queuue again. teh hire was full-to-full. On our return we called into a petrol station about ten miles from the airport and filled it up (the petrol assistant did it) - when we drove off we noticed the indicator was not showing full. 200 yards outside the aiport we went to another petrol station and filled it ourselves - until the handle clicked - i.e - full. when we drove off the indicator still showed it as not being full - obviously a fault indicator. it was 7am so the check in desk was clsoed. We have since received an email stating we have been charged 39 euros for returning with an unfull tank. So no - i will not be using this firm again. What makes this worse - if the indicator is fault - this must be happening week after week - so people are being ripped off. "
" not at all happy. on arrivall at keddy desk, knowing full well we had paid for full insurance, the check-in clerk said 'would you like to pay for the full insurance?' we insisted that we had. he said that we hadn't and insisted that we paid for insurance via a third party that is not the same as full insurance. This turned into a silly argument. As far as we were concerened - we'd ticked the option to pay full insurance - and here's someone saying that the insurance we've bought from is not full insurance - it took ages to do this check in becuas of this argument. people in the queue behind were irate - and it bacame very embarrasing. The clerk sort of looked down on the fact tat we'de paid via a thrid party. Also, all the info we'd enetered online about our hire - it all had to be entered again - because 'we'de hred via a third party' - te guy at keddy didn't seem to liek the fact that we'd paid via autoeuroope - we hated the expereince!!! "

She was rude at the desk saying take it or leave it I don't care if you don't have the car !! " I was made to pay for a scratch below the front bumper. I did not want to argue but I am not aware of having scratched it and as I had to point ou to them scratches on the back bumper I will never be sure those scratches were not there in the first place. I simply did not look below the bumper. "

" My only comment (and it's nothing to do with Keddy) is that the pick-up area for rental cars at Ancona Falconara airport is poorly signposted: the signs indicating which company's cars are parked where face away from the terminal building... The rental return is also poorly signposted: there is a sign on the roundabout as you enter the airport, but nothing to indicate that the return car park is quite separate from the pick-up one. "

When i returned the car at the end of our holiday ,i told the lady that the sat nav is not working but she still wanted to charge me 100€ for it,because apparently i have used it. How can i use something that does not work? And the lady at the counter still charged me 48€ because i had it! What is this? I paid 105 € for the car for 5 days and i had to pay 100€ for the sat nav ??? This is ridiculous! The lady at the counter never told me that i have to pay 100€ for the device when i got the car! I only found out when i dropped the fiat to the airport. Will never use this company again in my life! By the way i speak fluent italian and english so there was absolutely no language barrier between us! "

" I picked up the car at Ancona airport & drove it to Insbruck.There i added another driver.The next day he noticed there was alight on the dash board indicating no brake fluid.I tried ringing Budget but arter about 15 mins of waiting in a queue and getting cut off we set off to buy some fluid and fill it up ourselves and also the radiator water which was also empty. We were about to drive the moutain passes to treviso so fixing the brakes was quite important! I was part of a large cycling group while the added driver supplied back up in the hire car carrying spares etc.While i was cycling he got a puncture and had to fit the emergency spare.He tried phoning budget but again no response.He took the car to get the puncture repaired but was told the wall of the tire was damaged.They offered him a used tire as replacement which he accepted.next day i returned the car to Ancona. Instead of getting an apology for being supplied with an obviously unchecked and dangerous car and maybe a discount,i get a bill of nearly £300 for the fitting of a new tire which i thought i was insured for. I don't mind paying the correct price for the tire but feel as if i have been ripped off. "

" The vehicle we were given was firstly, an unrequested or appreciated upgrade of size, it had hub caps or non alloy wheels on one side and not on the other (so silver on one side and black on the other) this was marked on the paperwork - however (and this was the most disappointing) was that there were 2 large scratches - one which (looked like it had been keyed) went across the whole of the front passenger door and 6 inches onto the back passenger door - which were not noted on the paperwork. I think you know what my fear would have been had we not inspected the car closely and insisted on having the paperwork amended. Collection and drop off was klunky compared to others we have used at Ancona "

" The car was not cleaned, and so it was hard to tell if the marks on the exterior were scratches or dirt. The man told me they were dirt and didn't want to mark them on the sheet. I took a photo anyway. When it came to drop off, they said that they were scratches. It was OK because I had the photo, but it wasted my time. Also, the car did not have any wiper fluid, and this was dangerous when I was driving into the sun and could not see. "

" Overall comparable in cost to the other providers at this airport for our stay, longer queue at pick up compared to other providers, but due to condition of the car we were offered slightly disappointed "
" On arrival we were offered a car (VW Polo as booked) with the middle section of the rear seats sealed off with Duct Tape and a note saying unsafe to use due to a faulty seat belt. I would never be expected to accept a car with faulty parts especially seatbelts where our children would sit even if we could have squeezed our family into it. This car should not have been available! The car we were offered as an alternative was much smaller (Lancia Ypsilon) which we struggled to fit in with our luggage, came with 3 pages of damage / scratch reports (vs the almost umblemished VW Polo) and although it served a purpose was nothing like the car we had been offered. Although the service staff were generally efficient, they seemed annoyed we challenged the initial car we had been offered and that we found more damages to report before taking the substitute car. Quite busy at pick up time, no queue at drop off. "

" Despite clearly stating (and having confirmed in your documents) that we wished to collect the car at 13:30 - and the documents saying that Avis Ancona is open all day, when we arrived at 13:00 they were closed. There was still an agent behind the counter, but she refused to serve us. We had to wait 2.5 hrs until 15:30 when they reopened. Fortunately, we were collecting a car, not dropping it off before getting the train! Even when they reopened, the check-in took ages. The directions as to where the car was parked were very vague (50 metres according to the agent) We hunted around for the car for quite a while, ending up returning to the office. In the end, they had to run us to the car which was over 500 metres away and not visible from the road. Highly unsatisfactory. "
