" Poor pick up service from the airporest due mainly to lack of any signage or details of which gate to go to, unable to get through to the office. The car was fine except when I pointed out the numerous small marks on the car at pick up (expected due to age) I was told not to worry about these as they were minor. Low and behold when dropping off the car I was told that I had caused two of these marks and would have to pay €340, they actually took £380 from the deposit! I tried to argue this and refused to sign the damage report and was told that would mean I was still renting the car and would lose all £850 deposit, eventually signed but stated on the damage report that the damage was there on pick up. I get the feeling that these minor marks have been charged to many customers before me and that B rent make a small fortune by conning customers this way. "

We returned a car with a scratch which we thought would be covered in our insurance. It turned out that B-Rent is a big con company they added an 'addministive cost' of €70 on top!!!!! Saying it doesnt count as excess charge but its a seperate charge for all the all in insurance. What a bunch of lying assholes. This practice should be considered illegal and is extremely misleading.l and illegitimate. I hope they go bust and I am very disappointed to see Auto Europe using a local provider who practces such illicit behavior. "

" Car rental agency is a scam. Unfortunately my husband booked are car rental late not knowing that automatic cars sold out quick. He booked with B-rental because they did have a automatic but after researching this company on line, I told him we should cancel. I told him of all the accusations of damage to cars and the renter saying they were already damaged. My husband said we will just video the car and the damages that way they can not claim any false accusations. So we video taped it pointing out all the scratches (gentleman was not happy saying they have to be so deep to even report on his sheet and he did not report all the scratches I told him). I had also read to make sure what kind of gas the car took and check the gas gauge because the car needed to come back at the same level. . Gentleman was asked what type of gas and he said diesel and I asked my husband if the tank was full and he said no it was at a half of a tank. On our return date my husband dropped me and my youngest daughter off at the airport hotel and went to return the car. He was gone like 4 hours and I was worried. B-rental claimed there were scratches on the mirrors and we informed her they were there prior, we even screen shot the mirrors from the video showing the scratches. She said she would have to talk to the guys in the garage and wanted my husband to sign for damages which my husband refused. Then she informed him there was a gas charge and a 30 E fee for not filling the car up. He told her it was at half of a tank when we got it. She showed him on the sheet where it said fuel 53/53 (didn't even know that meant they were claiming we left at a full fuel tank) He fought with her for some time my daughter was even there to verify it was a half a tank and that she heard me ask before pulling away. Women said since the sheet said 53/53 it was his word against the check out guy. My husband finally took the car drove all over Rome looking for gas station and filled it up with 60 E of gas (over $70 dollars) to avoid the additional 30 E charge. I was very upset with him and told him I would not have filled it up either, they are liars, they have terrible reviews and will rip you off anyway they can. I don't think there is any way we can get are $70 back now. I did call credit car and dispute the damages but a few days later the lady emailed us and said there would not be any additional charges for damage to the mirrors. (don't worry they were not going to get it anyway ........we have proof. The company is dishonest! "

" We rented from B-rent in Milan Malpensa in June 2018. After reading all negative reviews I hesitated a bit but the price gap with the good companies like europecar etc. was too large (was actually almost double the price) and we decided to take a risk. And I am so glad we did. 1. Transfer frim the airport. A lot of reviews were saying they waited for the minibus for more than half an hour. For us it was less than 5 minutes. Also many were saying they couldn't find it. We arrived, called the number on the voucher, they explained us where to go and said minibuses are every 15-20 minutes. 2. Queues at the counter and staff. Many are saying queues are too long, staff rude and unprofessional. Wasn't the case with us. We arrived around 7pm on Friday (busy time I suppose). When minibus came there were 2 staff members and only 4 families in minibus to take car (so no long queues), we were first. Process was not too long and efficient. Guy did try to sell us their insurance maybe a bit too aggressively but I was quite firm and he gave up :). Overall he was polite. Then the girl spent quite a lot of time with us explaining how everything in the car works as my mum isn't a frequent driver. 3. The car itself seemed to be better than what we have paid for (we booked compact and were given quite large hybrid car, so we saved on fuel too). It did have reasonable amount of scratches though which we all marked on the papers 4. Dropping off. Here I would agree with most of the reviews: process is quite slow. It took us about 20-30 minutes, so please do allow time for this. There was just one staff member who was doing her best but their procedure is to check the car, you cannot just leave the key. For me this is better as I want their signuture that everything is fine for my piece of mind. Their were no problems at drp off for me (apart from the wait), again staff was very polite, minivan also was going just after we finished drop off. Deposit was unblocked 2 weeks after drop off without reminder or any problems (with the Russian credit card for some reason we always have problems with deposit inblocking and have to call the company to soeed things up). Overall I can say that I am very happy and for the price I would forgive small inefficiencies. To be fair I had to wait with the big rental companies names some times as well. "

About the worst experience you could wish for at the end of a long journey. It got worse when I felt like I had been mugged on return after being charged €562 for a minor scrape. " I have booked Mercedes A class for a reason as I wanted to travel arounD AMALFI coast with with a decent car. Instead I was given Toyota Hybrid car which was bulky and made the journey very difficult due to narrow roads. It took around 30minutes to be processed by the counter staff. I feel cheated as I could have booked cheaper £10 cheaper car if I knew I wouldn't get the car I booked. I wouldn't recommend the Auoteurope or Brent unless some refund is provided. "
