This came as a complete surprise to us as we had informed you that we would be going to Germany so would have expected to be informed of the extra charge when we booked. They say that as I didn't book direct then the procedure for the insurance was a different process so take a 100 euro deposit with an excess of 950 euro. " The only issue is the signage at Amsterdam airport. It was easy to spot the directions for the car pick-up but the reception desks were not easy to spot. My experience at other airports is that they are usually the same! Consequently we walked to the car pick-up point and were told to backtrack to the reception desks. This added another 20 minutes to getting possession of the car! Very frustrating. Adding a note on the confirmation would be helpful. The rest of the experience was very good. "

" I would consider using Autoeurope again, but this experience as really put me off, and i'm not sure what support can be offered in my situation. As a search tool it was useful, but the experience of being mislead by Budget, i can't say i'm completely satisfied in the over all service or experience. "
" The flight me and my family took landed early, and we arrived at the Budget office just under an hour before the rental was due to start. I upgraded the car, paid for a child seat, and dropped the excess to £0, all at quite a cost. We were eager to get on with our holiday, and when i returned home i found i was charged for 4 days instead of the 3 booked. The car was returned on time (in fact over an hour early), but by turning up 50mins early I was charged for an extra day. At no point was this highlighted as i would have just waited, i had even inquired about additional costs should we for any reason get caught up in traffic coming back, and was told just to call and let them know. With all those extras paid for, this feels like a real kick in the teeth, and i believe i was mislead in order to make even more profit from me. I've made a complaint but the response was less than positive, and as such will not be using Budget again, and would advice anyone else to think twice about using a company that is happy to mislead its customers! "

" Very good service all round. My only advice is for a few more customer service desk staff to be employed at Schipol airport to enable faster check in especially after a long flight. The last thing you want is an hour in another queue. Apart from that, service was friendly and excellent. "
