Insurance

Premium VIP coverage (includes secondary, comprehensive and collision coverage for the rented vehicle with US$1,000 deductible per accident) and Public Liability (insurance coverage of up to US$1,000,000 towards 3rd-party claims) are included in all rentals. The excess of the motorhome is US$1,000, an amount that will be authorised/blocked as a security deposit on the main driver's credit card (debit cards are not accepted).

Which additional items are offered?

The supplier is offering a range of extras that can be selected and purchased whilst you make your reservation. The vehicles have limited mileage and come without kitchen and personal equipment, but it is possible to add them individually (details and prices are indicated on our website) or by opting for the 'All-inclusive Package'. This package is very useful and offers unlimited mileage, kitchen and personal equipment, GPS navigation system, camping table and chairs and the preparation fee, basically everything you'll need to fully enjoy your motorhome hire with Road Bear RV. To guarantee availability, we strongly recommend that you book all the equipment you need well in advance.

Important things to keep in mind when hiring a campervan with Road Bear RV

All drivers must be 21 years of age (25 years for drivers holding a US licence). A major non-debit credit card is mandatory, as well as a valid driving licence issued in your country of residence and your passport or ID Card (only applicable for US residents). Some travelling restrictions are in force: driving to Mexico is not permitted and travelling to Death Valley isn't possible between the 15th of June and the 15th of September. And if you are planning to visit Alaska, Yukon or the North-west Territories, please inform the reservations department at the time of making the booking as the supplier must be notified in advance. Vehicles are prepared for the winter season between the 1st of November and the 1st of March although the situation can vary depending on the pick-up location and local weather conditions). During this period, it is not possible to use the water and waste systems when temperatures fall below zero.

If you are travelling on an intercontinental flight or from South America, please note that it is not possible to collect your campervan hire with Road Bear RV on the same day you arrive. You will also need to call your Road Bear RV rental station 2 to 3 business days before the day of the pick-up to confirm your arrival.
