Car hire at Boston Airport - Gateway to New England

Boston Airport is the main international air transportation hub for the city of Boston in the US state of Massachusetts and a popular gateway to the New England region. Officially known as General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport, it is one of America's busiest airports despite its relatively small size and boasts a vast range of passenger services, including spas, art exhibitions, children's play areas and some award-winning restaurants..

Located just 5km (3 miles) east of central Boston, the airport handles around 40 million passenger movements each year and currently consists of four large passenger terminals (A, B, C and E) which are all self-contained with their own ticketing, baggage-claim and ground transportation services. With most international arrivals coming through terminal E, it is a busy hub for Cape Air and Delta Air Lines and a focus airport for JetBlue.

The vibrant city of Boston is steeped in American history. It's a place where tall glass skyscrapers stand side-by-side with beautiful 19th-century Beaux Arts buildings. Comprising 16 of Boston's most important buildings and monuments, the 3-mile-long Freedom Trail is the first port of call for most newcomers to the city, most notably the Old State House (site of the Boston Massacre) and Faneuil Hall, which is generally known as Cradle of Liberty. New York, likewise, is also accessible via the I-95 state highway.

Boston is also the perfect base from which to explore the fascinating New England region of north-east America. With a car hire in Boston you can visit Harvard, one of the world's most famous universities with many first-rate cultural attractions, including the Peabody Museum of Archeology and Ethnology, Mineralogical Museum, Museum of Comparative Zoology and the Botanical Museum.
