Gdansk Airport consists of one terminal and an adjacent decommissioned terminal which is now only used for arrivals. Both buildings are linked via a foot bridge. Terminal 1 is a four-storey building, with one being underground and the remaining three above ground level. Fully operational since 2015, Terminal 1 is perfectly laid out with the travellers needs in mind. The maximum capacity is 7 million passengers per year.

Location: Gdansk Airport is located 7.4miles (12kms) northwest of Gdansk, 7.4miles (12kms) from Sopot and 14.2miles (23kms) from Gdynia (Tricity Metropolitan Area).

Upon arriving in Terminal 1, you will immediately be impressed by its modern design and functionality. As you enter, the check-in desks are located directly in front. With car hire companies, boutiques, cafes, ATM's and exchange bureaus along the entrance wall. Next to check-in is security control, with a fast track channel. The VIP lounge is located again next to the security control area.
Once past security control, you can take the escalator to the next level. Once there you will find a selection of shops - from souvenirs, duty free shopping, restaurants, news agents and cafes to jewellery stores. There is even a kid's play area and an executive lounge. Once finished you are able to proceed on the same floor to your gates and passport control.
The other original terminal is now only used for arrivals and consists of an arrivals hall, baggage reclaim and customs.
A total of nine car rental agencies function out of Gdansk Airport. Service desks for all located in the main hall, ground floor level - Terminal 1.
Please make sure you have all the necessary documents with you upon collecting your car hire from Gdansk airport. Documents include a valid driving licence, your voucher and a credit card with an ample limit for your deposit. It is advised to read fully your terms and conditions and note insurance, fuel policies and any excesses. In addition to any further documents this location may require.
Before commencing your journey, be sure to inspect your vehicle thoroughly, marking down any issue on your pick-up report. On returning your vehicle, it is advised to arrive early enough to allow a member of staff to fully inspect your vehicle for new damage.

Within Terminal 1, main hall, ground floor level, you can find an ATM machine, exchange bureau, tour operator desks, car rental desks, shops, cafes, a post office, a tourist information desk, an SOS point, toilets and a news agent.
Once through security control, the 1st floor consists of restaurants, cafes, an executive lounge, a souvenirs and duty free shop, toilets - one of which has baby changing facilities, a kids play area, a jewellery store, a news agents, a boutique store, an exchange bureau and a smoking room.
Gdansk City Centre - travel along route (DW501), once you arrive at the Tricity bypass (E28), go towards Gdynia. Up on passing junction (7), stay on the right lane until you reach a petrol station - and then take the left lane. When exiting route E28, go under the flyover and head towards Slowackiego (DW472). Continue on this route towards the airport. When you reach roundabouts, simply take the second exit and proceed.
Pruszcz Gdansk - Continue on Tricity bypass (E28) towards Gdynia. Once you pass junction 7, move towards the right lane until you see a petrol station. Immediately after take the left lane. On exiting E28, go under the flyover and head towards Slowackiego (DW472). Stay on this route towards the airport, simply go straight on the roundabouts.
Gdynia/Sopot - Follow Tricity bypass (E28) to Gdansk. Once exiting E28, head toward Slowackiego (DW472) and then follow airport signs until you reach your destination.
If you plan to arrive by car, please note that traffic can be heavy, therefore leave plenty of time for your journey.
Travelling by bus is very economical. Bus number 110 heads towards Gdansk-Wrzeszcz train station. Bus number 210 proceeds towards Gdansk Glówny train station. Bus number 122 goes to Sopot Kamienny Potok.
Night services also exist and the N3 bus runs between Gdansk Main train station and Gdansk-Wrzeszcz train station, then onto the airport.
Trains to the airport are operated by SKM. They depart every 30 minutes from Gdansk-Wrzeszcz to the Airport and onto Gdynia Glówna. Departure is every hour from Gdansk Glówny to the Airport and onto Kartuzy and from Gdynia Glówna to Port Lotniczy and onto Koscierzyna.
Some stations require you to catch a bus service to the airport.
A total of 4 car parks exist at Gdansk Airport. All of which are located within the Terminal vicinity. Car park 1 (P1) is located directly in front of Terminal 1 and operates as a short-stay car park only. Car park 2 (P2) is located to the left of Terminal 1 and is again a short-stay car park. However, you are also able to leave your vehicle overnight. Car park 4 & 5 (P4 & P5) are also sited near P2, but allow for you to keep your vehicle for longer stays.
The affectionately named "Kiss & Fly" zone can be found in front of Terminal 1 and is designed as a short stop zone only.
