Menorca Airport (MAH)
Official Name: Mahón Airport or Menorca Airport. In Spanish the airport is referred to as Aeropuerto de Menorca, and in Catalan it is called Aeroport de Menorca.
Address: Ctra. San Clemente, s/n, 07700 Mahón, Islas Baleares, Spain
Location: The airport is located 2.8 miles south-west of the capital and the largest city on Menorca, Mahón.
Airlines operating at Menorca Airport: There are lots of airlines that provide seasonal flights from the UK to Menorca Airport, including British Airways, Easyjet, Jet2, Flybe, Monarch, Thomas Cook, and Thomson Airways.
Menorca Airport has a single terminal building and 16 gates, which are connected to the main terminal by a jetway. The layout of the terminal building is quite easy to grasp: on the ground floor, you will find the check-in desks, and the arrivals area. Departures are on the first and second floor. If you have any questions while visiting the airport, you can turn to the airport information desk on the first floor in the check-in area.
Many of the car hire companies we work with have their desks inside the arrivals lobby. However, numerous companies also have their offices located outside of the terminal building, and may have a shuttle or a "meet and greet" service arranged for you. Please check the details on our booking engine, in the Terms and Conditions on our website before confirming your booking, and on your car hire voucher after making the booking, to find out exactly where the office of the supplier of your car rental is.

If you are heading to Mahón, with a car hire from Menorca Airport, you can reach the capital in under 10 minutes! Simply drive along the Me-14 and the Me-12. All of Menorca can be easily explored with a car, thanks to the compact size of the island. Even Ciutadella de Menorca, at the north-west end of the island, can be reached in about 45 minutes via the Me-1. Find out more about driving on Menorca and in Spain here.
For those wishing to travel from the airport using public transport, there is a bus service. To get to Mahón, you can take Line 10. This line operates every half an hour from approximately 6am to midnight during the summer months, and once every hour from approximately 6am to 11pm during winter. Bus connections to other destinations on the island are also available from the airport. The bus stops are located in front of the terminal building.
You may have some difficulty finding on-street parking in popular destinations on Menorca, such as Mahón. There are however some free car parks around the town, but be sure to have a good map with you so as not to get stuck due to the one-way roads. There is an underground car park close to the centre at Plaza de la Explanada, near the bus station, but you must pay to park at this car park.
