    Airport Information

With around 10 million passengers a year, Milan Linate Airport is the fifth busiest airport in Italy. First constructed in the 1930s, the airport currently consists of one large three-storey terminal building and the name Linate derives from the small village where the airport is located. Getting to and from the city centre from Milan Linate Airport is quick, easy and mostly stress-free by car from the north (A4/A51), the west (Viale Forlanini) and the east (A35-Brebemi) via the Rivoltana provincial road. To reach Viale Forlanini from the East Ring Road (Tangenziale Est) of Milan (A51), leave at exit 6 in the direction of Linate - Viale Forlanini - Milano Centro, following the signs for Linate. To reach the airport from the Liscate Barrier of the A35-Brebemi, continue on the A35 VAR and take the Rivoltana provincial road, following the signs for Linate until the Novegro roundabout/traffic lights (in Milan’s Segrate district), from where you can easily reach it in your rent a car at Milan Linate Airport.
