Airport information

Salt Lake City airport is located around 4 miles from downtown Salt Lake City which is based in Utah. It is a civil military airport which was opened in 1911. In 1920 the airport was expanded due to the United States postal service beginning air mail to Salt Lake City. The airport continued to grow and was decided in 1987 that expansions were needed to both terminals and also to the runway. The airport now has three terminals, 83 gates and 4 runways.

Terminals

Salt Lake City airport contains three passenger terminals. The three terminals consist of five concourses and a total of 83 gates. Terminal 2 has concourse C and operates flights via Delta Airlines, SkyWest Airlines, and KLM. Terminal 1 has concourse G and F with all other airlines flying from here. Terminal 3 is the international terminal and has concourse D and E. International arriving flights only use gates D2, D4 and D6.

How to get to and from Salt Lake City airport

You can reserve this through the Salt Lake City airport website. Levels 2 and 3 are the daily garage parking with a rate of $35.00 per day. The hourly parking garage on level 1 is $2 for your first 30 minutes parking and $1 for each additional 20 minutes or $35.00 for the full 24 hours. Long term economy parking is $10.00 per 24 hours and an additional $3.00 per consecutive day as well as running a free shuttle service to the terminals. There is also a park and wait area for those collecting people from their flights.
