" As we were a little late arriving for pick up no car available. The woman was aggressive / rude/ dismissive. We were left isolated and she showed no compassion or concern. Fortunately a young man in Dollar/ Thrifty helped us out. Was warm / friendly / calm and helpful. We were so grateful to him. We now await a refund for monies paid. The company made no effort to contact us about late arrival. So stressful! "

" I was given a car with 2 doors instead of 4, as pictured in the advert. The key fob battery was dead so I had to use the door lock each time to enter the boot or side door. I was also stung with a clean for clean policy fine of £15 on return which I was not advised of during the pickup process. The fiat 500 is a terrible car to drive due to the bad placement of the seat belt, and the large front side panel bar which obstructs the view of oncoming traffic from the left. "

" CarJoy does not have a counter at the airport, this was my only stipulation when booking. We also only had a number for your office, no direct contact with carjoy. Sort it out. "
" CarJoy provided a great service BUT you must be aware that they do not have a counter at the airport. You need to call the Auto Europe who will then call CarJoy, make sure they take your number or they will not be able to call you back. When we spoke to carjoy, they said they have been asking Auto Europe to update their Website saying it is off site. Only a 2 minute drive "

" The car pick up was not acceptable, auto Europe should know where the desk of Carjoy is in the airport and also what this is called locally. The advice to walk from the airport was simply wrong. Please make sure you provide details of what the local desk is called and where it is located when you provide the car rental details. "
" There is nowhere in Pula airport inside or out that is called CarJoy. We rang the auto Europe helpline and they directed us to walk a few kilometres to a different site which was incorrect advice. Only when we asked at most of the other local car rental desks did we finally find someone who told us where to go. "

" The car they gave me was fairly new but already had a number of scratches and chips in the paintwork but they had only highlighted a few on the sign off paperwork. When I inspected the car I took 25 photographs of damage that they had not highlighted. When I returned to the drop off the Rep immediately went to a particularly large scratch that wasn't on the paperwork and tried to claim I had done it - until I held my phone up with the picture I had taken of it at pick up. "
" Part of the reason I selected this car was because on the booking page it said the puck up office was "On Airport" but it is about 2 miles off airport to their puck up point and they don't even have an office on airport meaning I had to faff about getting my UK phone to work as soon as I landed in order to ring them to come and pick me up. We ordered an automatic and got a manual car for half our order, the manager did not care at all and told us to pretty much f*** off... The voucher clearly states carjoy is at the airport but it is not. It's in some shady location and they operate under another company name called "Addcar".. very shady people. "

" Whilst this was advertised as onsite airport pick up , it is not at the airport itself. You need to ring them and they come and collect you. It's just a few minutes drive away but is advertised on Auto Europe site as go to desk at airport- warning there is no Carjoy desk. After a lot confusion we realised and rang the number on voucher and they came straight away to collect us. "

" We arrived 15mins after are scheduled arrival time, but I had supplied the flight number on booking so didn't think this would be an issue. On exiting the very small Zadar airport, there were lots of boards with names on them, but sadly none of them were mine. I read my instructions provided and proceeded to the car rental stand outside of the airport. No signage for Enjoy Rental Cars, so I asked other established companies if they knew where they were located. They had never heard of them! They kindly asked if I had a number and I checked my email from yourselves but that was just your number based in UK. They googled the name of the company provided to me by yourselves but nothing was listed in that name in Croatia let alone Zadar. It was suggested that the only thing to try do was wait at the collection point for off site rental collect from that area and to read the mini buses coming through. So we sat there for over an hour, in the baking heat of 40C in UK heavy clothes. Exhausted and thirsty we gave up and returned to the terminal and rang your customer help line number. I explained to the customer service agent what had happened. He popped me on hold and when he returned to the call, he said he had spoken to the company, given them my mobile number and they would be with us in under 10 mins and will ring me when at the airport. I asked him for the direct number for the company, which he gave me. So again we went outside in heat and watched car on car drive past until a further 25 minutes had elapsed and I was at breaking point. I rang the number given me for the rental car company but it was incorrect, worried it was my phone I asked a car rental employee to ring it as the automated response was in Croatian. They confirmed no such number. So back in to the airport to ring your CS in the UK once more. This different gentleman was a lot more helpful and spoke English as his first language so I finally got transferred through to the rental car company itself. They took my number once more, as they said the one given by first customer service staff was incorrect. (I thought oh yeah, mine too) It took them 15 mins to collect us and were very nice giving us cold water and turning up the AC as we were red as berries by now and very dehydrated. Collection for the car was about 9 mins from airport in a area called Babindub and the company mention on the voucher Car Joy was not there, we picked up our car from Surprise rentals. I was very suspicious at this but would have taken a car from Satan himself at this point. Especially as the owner of the apartment we were renting had rang me 3 times to ask what time we were arriving as had been waiting hours with the keys. You REALLY need to sort this out and add the correct telephone number & name for the rental company your are an agent for. We spent 2.5 hours trying to find this company plus 30mins speaking to two of your agents, one who was an idiot and couldn't get a number written down correctly. I would appreciate your feedback to the situation, an apology and a little compensation for my time and phone call charges as I am a simple PAYG user on my mobile. I await your response before I leave my reviews of your company. I know things can go wrong in life, but the quality of a company is shown how you deal with them. "
" Pick up at Zadar was a nightmare and took 2.5hrs and several calls to UK helpdesk. There is NO company called Car Joy at the rental company desks. No phone number online for a company by this name, the paperwork is from Sutprise rentals and the name on the office door in another name. The location is off airport in a small area call babindub. 9 mins away. "
