" 1) It took a long time to both pick up and drop off the car - for some reason, the paperwork seemed to take a very long time to go through. I had signed in/registered online but that didn't seem to make a difference. 2) Two days into our holiday, I got an email saying the vehicle needed to be changed. When I called the company, I was told the vehicle was needed back for maintenance. Surely this is something they would have known prior to giving me this specific vehicle? I was told they would make it easy for me but basically they called me a couple of times as my family and I were travelling beyond Santiago and then I never heard from them again. I was told nothing when dropping off the car. Not sure what to make of it but it caused a certain amount of stress and anxiety not knowing what the situation was. Not a great experience "

" The main problem is that O'Clock do not have a counter in Santiago Airport and their vehicle depot/office is a long complicated drive from the terminal. The process of taking delivery was longwinded. Having said that the staff (especially Monica Neira) were friendly and helpful. "

" We got no car, no money back and had to spend much more money on a different car rental on the spot "
" I got a really bad experience with Europcar in Santiago's airport. Everything was going fine until the moment of using the credit card. For some reason the card was denied so I was advised to call my bank which I did. From the bank they told me the card wasn't blocked for being in a foreign country and I could use it freely in Chile, actually they said they couldn't see any transaction from the card so it wasn't denied/refused by their system. With this information I went back to the counter and we tried again, again with no luck after several attempts (we typed the card number as well just in case the physical card was damaged, same result, denied). Then we offered to use my debit card to pay the 800 USD needed (I had more than 6000 USD so more than enough) but they refused that, same to my offer to give the deposit in cash. We tried with my girlfriend card as well with the same result (we used that card for 3 weeks in a row in Chile with no problem at all). At the end basically we couldn't take the car anyhow so we ended up stranded in the airport. The only thing they told us in Europcar was to cancel our reservation through Autoeurope but that was even more expensive than the money we'd get back so we ended up with no car and no money. Extremely frustrated and unsatisfied, a really bad way to start a long trip. "

" Although it wasn't stated, you have to get a bus to pick up the hire cars. Aside from that, I was very pleased with the pick up service and the condition of the car. Disappointingly when I dropped off the car, I had to go to the Europcar office inside the Terminal to get my deposit back rather than do all the paperwork at the car drop off area. This meant it took up some time, which was annoying. Apart from that, very happy with the service. "
