Took us about twenty minutes of walking around and standing in luckily the right place at the right time completely by accident that we happen to see a shuttle bus with the company's name pull up. got in and drove ten minutes to some random underground car park where the rental was located finally happy to just get the car and be on our way we then get told that we aren't getting a car because my drivers license had four months instead of six months which they claimed was disclosed during booking which definitely was not even after going back to look afterwards we still couldn't find any information on this the reason we booked with this car rental is because you didn't have to be driving for a certain amount of time (or so we thought) we tried to get a refund but the people at the desk were rude to us even before they knew we couldn't get a car which I can only assume is because I'm a younger woman this all resulted in me and my two friends being down over a hundred euros and completely stranded in Madrid where we had to pay out another sum of money for a hotel since there was no trains available for the day. The information provided about shuttle location was incorrect and it took about 20 minutes to find somebody to tell us wher the meeting point was. Having got the shuttle and transferred to the pickup point we found only 2 people booking us in and the 2 people in front were being very difficult and took nearly 20 minutes to sort themselves out. The ticket system went wrong and several Germans just pushed in to get served in front of us. Eventually we got sorted, it took us only 5 minutes. Not sure why others took so long. We spent over 50 minutes waiting to get served in the office, with at least 6 desks and only 2 operating and a queue of 8 when we left the only bad experience. "

Click Rent were not on airport as claimed and we had a 20min+ wait to be collected and taken some distance away from the terminal to collect the car. Upon collection, we felt blackmailed around taking additional insurance, on top of the CDW already purchased from Auto Europe. I refused and had to agree to a €2,000 hold on my credit card instead. Noone inspected the vehicle with me upon collection. The car was filthy and had several serious dents and scratches, including major damage to the passenger side. Numerous photographs were taken as a result but the main concern is a prior customer or customers have no doubt had to pay significant damage fees but the car hire company has taken the money without carrying out the necessary repairs. Overall a negative experience with an overriding sense the company operated dishonestly both in terms of their false claim of being on-airport, and the lack of care of their fleet. I will not use again and would definitely not recommend. "

" I am so very angry at Auto Europe for your misinformation reguarding the location of the Clikrent rental office (IT IS NOT SIMPLY AT THE AIRPORT, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE A 10 MINUTE TRANSFER TO IT, which your information does not detail at all. Your "where to go" info that is sent near time of travel makes it sound like it is in the carpark near where shuttlebuses operate (where there are some rental offices for other companies), and you also don't mention you will need to wait for a transfer to come - we sat at the transfer point for over 45 minutes without one coming! This problem caused a lot of delays in finding Clikrent following our arrival, which made us late to our hotel, and my sister had a work training meeting that she was late to join as a result. It also contributed heavily to problems when trying to return the car. I very nearly missed my flight home because of it all, and the level of stress caused was enough to totally ruin the end of our holiday - not to mention causing a risk to me as I am pregnant. If you had simply been honest about the location of the rental office, I would have booked an alternative - one actually at the airport terminal, because there were dozens of other rental companies available there. Joined a queue of people waiting for service. This is not the sort of service We are used to at Mallorca. I had booked the car, believing it was advertised as being 'on the airport' which it wasn't. Th3 drive from the centre to the airport on the final day was with a driver who clearly was not happy in their work. Am now involved in negotiations over minor damage to a damaged car to get insurance cover for a £300+ bill for a minor scratch. Would I recommend them? That's a definite 'NO'. "

" All went well from start to finish, but I had a couple of concerns. 1 - The rental was limited to 250 miles per day, but the counter staff said that I only had 1750 miles for my 11 day rental. The did agree if it was for 4 days then it would be the full 100 miles, which i could not understand 2- They said that if there was any damage to the vehicle I would loose the whole deposit 1300Euros even if the damage was minor. Neither of the above affected me but I am not sure if both the above are correct? "

Having said that, the car hire pick-up is not far away and I didn't have long to wait for the mini bus transfer. This would have been an issue if my wife had travelled with me as she is disabled and would not have been able to get onto the mini-bus. Upon returning the car, they went over it with a fine tooth-comb as though they were desperately trying to find a scratch or some kind of damage. There was an argument with a Dutch couple and the car assessor over a small scratch. The assessor said that it was virtually a brand new car and didn't have any damage before they took it yet the car had over 25,000 kms on the clock and the scratch was so small, it was easy to miss. I would have been very annoyed if it had been me. "

" Shuttle location - opposite arrivals and behind a building - was not easy to find. Queue was fairly long but well managed. Staff were polite and friendly. No pressure over insurance - I have my own excess cover. Outdoor pick up so easy to photograph (in daylight) before departure. Car was mechanically fine, though it had much more damage than documented, though - as advised by staff - I photographed the car extensively. Return was also fine once I fuelled up at the nearby Repsol and found the depot entrance. Return processing was a little slow. A particular "ding" on the bottom of the driver's door was "highlighted" for review. Of course my photographs confirmed that the damage was there before I had been given the car so all was fine. Staff called us a taxi (apparently cheaper than picking it up at Arrivals) to take us into Palma where we stayed for a few more days. "

Please follow the instructions provided to find the shuttle, but here is a simple guide - as you come out towards car rentals, pass two zebras and in front of the building with car rentals turn left, go almost to the end where it will be a narrow path to the right towards the building, go through the opening and then there is a red door (when open, you can't see it's red) to the outside, where the shuttle is. Not that straight forward. At the counter is fast. Cars are good - ours had some damages, but they were registered. Drop off was easy and fast and shuttle bus was waiting for us. In overall good experience and will book again. "

He spotted a small scrape on the rear near side wheel and was going to withhold the 1000 CC block until I zoomed in on the photo I had taken during collection. It had done over 56000k and had damage from the wheel trims to the under carriage trim to the bumpers. We had to tighten the rear number plate to prevent it falling off. The representative behind the counter did not get up and waved me away and said take photographs which I did. This was done as best I could. Upon returning the vehicle an inch long chip on the inner side of the rear drivers side wheel trim was pointed out. " To be totally honest. It was the worse experience I have ever had collecting a car. It took longer to pick up the car than it did for me and my family to fly from London to Spain. I totally get being a busy company, however collecting people from the airport was extremely busy so waiting for the shuttle bus took longer than it should of and then collecting the car from the pick up counter was so slow it totally ruined the experience for us. The same when dropping the car back, again really busy so we missed the first run and then have no idea when they are returning as they took atleast 30 mins minimum before they returned, so to make sure that my family and I weren't going to be late we ended up calling a cab from the drop off too the airport which took 3 minutes which included collecting our bags which I had a 6 bags, a buggie and a travel cot. So I have no idea why the shuttle bus took over 30 minutes to drop off 8 people at a time and then to come back. Honestly I will never use clickrent again and will never recommend them and I will push people away from using them as they obviously don't employ enough staff to deal with the amount of customers they have even though they know in advanced as you have to book the car plus they were getting walk ins so was such a terrible service and the staff wouldn't even give you a heads up on waiting time. This was hands down the worse experience of collecting a car abroad and we always drive abroad so have done this many times, this really was terrible. "

" I am very annoyed about the additional charges - I would not have minded so much except Auto Europe's paperwork did not mention this anywhere, and I had no choice but to pay the additional fee if I wanted to pick up the car. This more than doubled the rental costs. "

" After sending photos of the car at the end of my rental, as requested (as I paid an extra €55 to drop the car at the airport as my flight was too early to wait until the Click Rent site opened at 8am) I was told I was being charged €330 for scratches made to the car during my rental. I know for a fact, there is no way these scratches could have been made during my rental as the car was parked in 1 place in a designated parking area the entire time and we only made 2 very short journeys where I parked in a completely open car park and these scratches look like old wear and tear to the car. Then, when I contested this charge over email, I received no response. Then £668 was taken from my card without any further explanation for what that extremely high fee related to. It is completely outrageous and I am following up with all relevant authorities as this company should not be allowed to behave in this immoral way. "

" When I booked the hire car i ensured that I filtered cars that were collection at the airport. When I arrived I had to take 6 bags a car seat and a pram along with my partner and a 3 year old to a car park and then into a minibus to another location, and the same on the return. In return there was a tiny scratch on the bumper which was about 4 mm long I was accused of doing the damage even tho the whole car was covered in damage and scratches. I made sure that I took a video when I collected the car showing the scratch. No apologies for accusing me. Completely out of order and I will never use the company ever again. "

" I arrived at the pick up point at Malaga airport at 9.05pm. at I didn't get picked up until 9.40. I tried to contact then by phone but I was unable to speak to anyone, it was a voicemail giving opening hours. When I got to ClickRent's office and checked in it was 10.00pm. I tried to take photos of the damage but was rushed out by their staff so that they could close. I managed to take some photos but when I returned the car I was told that there was a scratch which they don't have on their records. To me it looked an old scratch and when I explained what had happened the guy shrugged his shoulders and and told me that he couldn't do anything about it. I then had to wait 45 minutes for a courtesy mini bus to take me to the airport. When I complained they told me that the bus should be there every 10 to 15 minutes, no apology or anything else. Ride and unhelpful I would not recommend Click Rent to anyone "

They charged me €150 for sand in the car Dear Matteo This charge breaches the terms of our agreement and did not meet the threshold of 'Major Special Cleaning'. Especially considering the duration of the car hire. Furthermore your children's car seats are of extremely poor standard and cost twice as much as your competitors for the same duration , while your competitors offer high quality isofix at half the cost. I beleive Clicke rent has a strategy of low initial cost but severely punitive fines and very expensive extras. I will be informing Auto Europe and launching a formal complaint and push for an inquiry to have Click Rent removed from their platform as Click Rents values are not aligned with Auto Europes and it does not meet their threshold standards. The consumer ombudsman in the uk will also be informed. Supporting photo and video evidence will be supplied. Regards "

For the car we had, with all it's damage there's no way if they came back with faults I would have paid, as the car war given to us damaged, it would have to have been a significant damaged caused by ourselves. Having found car it had marks on every panel. They did not go over the car with me when I took the car and because I didn't take out their expensive additional insurance, which was not described on the rental voucher, the had 2 staff were out in force upon my return, hunting for any excuse to charge me . It's a fraud and I will not give up my efforts to get my stollen money back!! "

" The counter staff were very unhelpful, the car was in a poor condition and there was a lot of damage that was not on the checklist provided by the counter staff. When I tried to get the additional damage added to the list I was told by the manager to take photos and when I return the car there would be no problem, which of course is ludicrous. I had to insist that the additional damage was listed on the checklist or I would want a replacement car. Good job I did this because when I did return the car the drop off inspection was very thorough. Beware of clickrent and stand your ground and take a video and photos of everything. "

After returning to the UK, Anna in the Lisbon office was very helpful in getting and investigation underway. I am hoping for a positive outcome and a retrun of fees. AE do need to make customers more aware of this clause relating to 4 months before credit card expiry after the rental period. It was a very unpleasant experience. "
" Having booked our holiday vehicle using the basic package, I was shocked when the car would not be released to me unless I paid an extra €378 the higher package thereby nearly doubling our rental costs. It was explained that may credit card did not have 4 months after the rental period before it expired. I felt unable to refuse as I was with my family and we needed to get to our accommodation. I believe this condition needs to be specifically drawn to the attention of the customer in order to avoid a nasty surprise when arriving in country. " You need to take their shuttle bus/van as their location is on the other side of the motorway. So...no walking option. The suttle stop is at the end of the airport at Zone 5-Left on exit doors and follow the signs. Shuttle has no ClickRent logo. You need to ask around where they wait.... Despite the fact we booked with AE full cover (FULL PROTECTION WITH EXTENSIVE COVERAGE).....on pick up we were asked to pay additional £340 or they must block £1200 for full cover. So, we ended up with £340+200 in case we loose the key.....According to them such lose is a costumer negligence and not covered. :) The guy said they don't appreciate any insurance paid in advance over 3th party companies li AE. We use AutoEurope since 2018 and we never had issues around the globe till now. Also, they have advertised Alpha Romeo Giulietta, but we ended up with dead horse 1L Ford Focus. They don't even have any Alfas in their garage. :) The cheapest rental car in Spain has turned into the most expensive weird experience... Make up your mind when you search for cheapest options. "

We now know that Clickrent has conned many other people in the exact same way. They have stolen £476 from my credit card and not provided any emails or paperwork to proof prior damage or even consult me the cost breakdown. If we had time before our flight we would have called the Policia! Avoid and never use this car hire company. They do not respond to emails to their customer service address and lie to steal money from their customers. Illegal and need to be investigated. "

A Ford ecosport active is smaller, I wanted a boot that would accept 2 suitcases and our child buggy. The T-cross has 455ltr of boot space, but the Ford has only 356ltr, 22% smaller. 5. When we found the Vehicle parked on a tarmac verge on a one way road, it was dirty on the exterior and interior with cigarette packets in the door pockets. 6. Only safe way to put the car seat in and pick up my partner and child was to drive away from the office on roads I did not know following the one way system. 7. Due to customer service and their reaction to all my concerns I was scared to complain as I got the impression they would not allow me a car and me and my family would be left in a foreign country without transport, on an industrial estate. 8. The next day it rained and I needed to use the window washer fluid. This did not work and only a small amount of foam came out of the jets. I had to stop, get wet and try to solve the problem. This was a quick solve the washer fluid tank was empty. 9. On return of the vehicle I followed the instructions on the map provided. Go past the main entrance on a one way street to the return gate. This gate was locked and there was no intercom to speak to anyone. So I had to go around the one way system and into the collection entrance. 10. When going into the collection entrance I was met by a lady waving at me to go backwards, I opened the window and asked where I should go as the drop off gate was closed. The lady said "I should have been told when I picked the vehicle where I should go" 11. after parking where I was told, and unloading the car, a gentleman came over. I said how disgusted I was. I then showed him pictures of the state of the vehicle when I got it and returned the cigarette packets to him. The gentleman looked shocked, and did apologise, but it was left there. After this whole experience I do not want to use Clickrent again and it shows that your certificates are not value for money. "

Our plane got in early at 8.30 and we left click rent at about 11.10am. "

We were not able to use a credit card in my name as the car was booked in my husband's name. He only had a debit card so they said we were obliged to take out their inclusive insurance policy which would be an additional £48. In a confused state I then paid c. 130 euros more for Click2rent's insurance. Worth it?... I doubt it. The first seat they gave us was one of the old-style ones, not up to modern safety standards, very dirty and also broken; we told them and asked for a replacement. In the event they came out with an Isofix style seat and base but then tried to charge extra for it. I refused to pay any more on the basis that they couldn't fulfil their contract by providing us with a safe car seat. We were not actually offered the option of hiring an Isofix car seat in the first place - an option I would have taken as they are much safer than the seatbelt-fixed ones. I was extremely angry and frustrated with the service provided. "

" The vehicle we rented from auto Europe was a Skoda Octavia or similar estate car . However, on arrival at clickrent Valencia the vehicle they had for us was a Ford Focus Estate. A Ford Focus and Skoda Octavia are not of the same category. The Ford Focus was a very basic model and nowhere compared to a Skoda Octavia. As far as I understand a similar vehicle to a Skoda Octavia is something like a Vauxhall or Opel Insignia. Not only was it not the vehicle that I was expecting to receive but also on arrival at clickrent Valencia, I was offered a very old car with lots of damage, high mileage and was in particularly dirty state. The hadn't been cleaned from the previous rental and so I refused point-blank to take the car. The rental staff then offered me another Ford focus which also hadn't been cleaned properly so we had to wait another 30 minutes before we could leave with our vehicle. "

A row between Auto Europe and Clickrent ensued -the result of which was a 2hour delay for me and my family (including a very hungry and tired 11month baby). We had to hunt around for ages and only a helpful member of staff from an other hire company told us where to go to be picked up and taken to the rental site.. We were not alone in this confusion. at the rental site we were shown our car. In all my years of hiring cars from countries all round the world I have never seen such a piece of sh*t! The car was dented, scratched all over, the inside stank of cigarette smoke and the upholstery was ripped. You are given a card to mark the damage, I took this back to the desk and told them what I thought of their vehicle and said there was not enough room on the card to mark all the damage! This was met with indifference and a shrug of the shoulders and I was told it was the best of the 3 convertible Opels they had.. The manager then came out her office to speak to the staff member as I was demanding another car. She too just shrugged her shoulders and wouldn't speak to me until I asked strongly that she come over and solve the problem. She said, yes the car was in bad condition but it still worked! I demanded another car and after being told they had nothing I eventually was given a different model. For this pleasure I had to pay another 20 euros a day. The car and the service were the worst I have ever experienced. I would like to hear from you as to what you are going to do about this "

" Very upsetting. We were given a Ford Kia (Reg. 6365 JNM). It had nearly 30 scratches, dents or faint marks on the body and were marked on their rental plan. We found a further 3 marks and advised them and took pictures. They told us not to mark on our copy, they would put it on their paperwork. We only used the car to get to our holiday destination and then back to the airport. On return, they apparently found another scratch, for which we have been charged 180€. From their attitude, we believe they are using these tiny marks to boost income as we declined to take out their excess insurance as we had our own. We were treated very well at the start, then just dismissively on our return. A very upsetting experience. We will NEVER use them again and advising everyone we know to be very wary. "

I cannot make a claim on my insurance because I do not know the cost of the call out itself against their administration fee. I'm annoyed about the flat battery itself as I don't know why I had one. The recovery guy took about 1 minute to re-start the vehicle. He was based in the town we were parked in. The total cost was over 200 euros. More than the car rental itself. My insurance would cover the admin fee but not the call out itself as they say the car hire company should give me a 'fit-for-purpose' vehicle. As usual when hiring a car and something goes wrong it feels like one's has been scammed. "

"15 minutes" was the answer. 15 minutes later there was no sign of the transfer bus and the number of people in front of us was 11 and we knew the transfer bus could only seat 9. I asked the same lady how long it would take. She just turned and walked away. In the end we had to wait for 30 minutes. We were offered seating inside but it was quite clear we would lose our place in the queue if we did that. "

We had to load, offload, reload our luggage and it was really inconvenient. Didn't get any help from the driver or the ClickRent staff. Why wasn't the car brought to the airport as was indicated? On the way back as well, I had to get to the Clickrent office to give the vehicle back , off load the luggage, reload in the Clickrent van who then took me to the airport. For me, the car pick-up and Drop-off was supposed to be at Menorca airport. I have been mis-sold this service. With me and my family stranded at the airport and having already paid the full amount, I had to make do with what Clickrent were offering. It may not be quite clear for the first-time user where to get the shuttle (they now stop in the middle of the road near taxis at drop-off/departures). "

" The worst experience ever and totally ruined my wifes and my holiday. We had to wait (and wait and wait) at a 'meeting' point at Ibiza airport. None of the airport staff had heard of 'Click-rent' (your agency). At several attempts phoning numbers on my voucher form I was told we would be picked up in 20 minutes. An old van arrived for us and we (and another family) were driven to an industrial estate miles from the airport. We queued up at the 'customer service' desk in a scruffy garage. One women was carrying out bookings on the desk whilst the other one was ignoring the customers talking to what sounded like her boyfriend on her phone whilst the queue grew and grew. After 40 minutes (whilst the other worker was still on her phone) I gave my details to what I can only describe as one of the rudest women I have ever met. Her gestapo like tone was a constant and I felt like I had done something wrong? She ended up telling me that I had to hand over my credit card (she refused my debit card?) and she was going to put a lock on it for 1050 euros. When I asked what that was for she said it was when I had an accident (not if - when?). I asked what would happen if someone drove into me? and she said she would still charge me the 1050 euros even if it was not my fault and I would have to try and claim it back from the company when I got home? I questioned this and she snatched the car keys back off me and told me to go and rent from someone else? We were stuck on an industrial estate miles from the airport so I had no option but to pay. I drove the car to our resort (Es Cana) and paid for secure parking for the 7 days we were staying there in case someone damaged the car. I didn't use the car once all week (I daren't). I got the car back to the industrial estate at 8.00am on the day of our departure after filling up the car with petrol (it required less than half a gallon) just outside Ibiza town. I parked up and a surly man (who didn't introduce himself, say 'good morning' etc...) came up to inspect the car. He never spoke to us once and got into the car and started the engine. He jumped out of the car immediately in an extremely aggressive manner and told me that I had broken the contract and that I owed him 29 euros. I asked him why? and he said whilst the engine was running the fuel gauge had dropped one bar and was not completely full. I explained that I had filled up at the nearest petrol station that was open to the dropping off point. He said that I had broken the contract, so I said I would get back in the car and go and try and find another petrol station and fill it back up. He just walked off leaving the engine running. So we reloaded our luggage and got back in the car. We had to drive round the one way system and after 10 minutes (we could'nt find a petrol station that was open) took the car back. I parked up, unloaded our luggage and took him the keys. I explained that I couldn't find a station open and told him I would pay the 29 euros. He told me that it was now 35 euros and if I didn't pay that we would not be transferred back to the airport. My wife was now upset and when I asked him why his attitude was so bad he spat in front of me and said something in Spanish? I signed a piece of paper and thankfully restrained myself from smashing his brains in. Julie, my wife, said if this had happened at home she would have immediately phoned the police. I was just glad to get away to be honest before I did something that would have gotten me in big trouble. The young girl who drove our transfer van back to the airport was in tears - she had witnessed what he had shouted after me after I had got on the van (it was in Spanish so I didn't understand) - she kept saying she was so so sorry for what had just happened over and over, and my wife and me had to console her. She was lovely and we felt bad for her. I told the girl at the airport that I was going to report Click rent but would say how nice she had been. She told me Thank you but would not give me the thugs name as she said she was too scared of what Click rent would do to her. I am going to send all of this to the 'Ibiza tourist board', Ibiza airport administration team, the British embassy in Spain and will post it word for word on 'Trip Advisor' and all European car rental sites. I want to ensure that no one else (whatever their nationality) has to go through what my Wife and me went through. You are most definitely the worst company that I have ever dealt with and the people who you employ are thugs, bullies, and criminals. "

" It is difficult to express in words just how unpleasant the experience was with ClickRent. The only benefit of them was that they were cheap but it stops there. First, it is unclear as to where the ClickRent shuttle bus departs from at the Departures. We were walking around a long time and asking people if they knew. Second, there are only about 6 seats on the shuttle bus which means you have to queue 10-15 minutes if you manage to get on the next one. Third, the queues at the depot were terrible. It is a ticketed service and it took them an extremely long time to process each hire car. Having waited 40 minutes for 2 people to be served (in a waiting room of about 25 people ahead of our ticket) we decided to pay the 40euro "VIP" charge to jump the queue. We were served next by a woman who was the supervisor. Whilst we stood at the desk, she did not acknowledge us, and decided to do other paperwork whilst we were there. After 10 mins we asked when we would be served since we had paid for the VIP service. She denied we had and was then corrected by her colleague that we had indeed. She was extremely aggressive towards us saying things like, "I dont know what your problem is" and "you are just going to have to wait". She eventually asked us to write down our details to start processing them then tried to get us to buy some insurance which we already had a policy on. The conversation turned very nasty and she ended up shouting at us. We were on our honeymoon and I started crying - such was the awful start to our trip. She never apologised. Please take this company off your roster because they really do not deserve the business that you provide them and the upset they will cause to your clients. I will go out of my way to mention this company to my friends to ensure they never make the same mistake. In the future, I will happily use one of the more expensive but mainstream car rental providers to avoid the experience that we endured because we were saving money. "

" The insurance situation isn't particularly clear, why pay more to be covered to then be told you need to pay an additional third of the combined cost for insurance that you thought was already covered? The Click Rent 'desk' is not in the airport, you have to wander out of the airport to find car park no.2 ad hope you find a representative amongst other reps and they then take you in a minibus to a depot about 5 minutes away. Not really a big problem but just be aware that you have to walk outside of the exit and turn left and walk to the end of the building, there's no desk as such or any signs for AutoEurope or Click Rent. " I had taken the higher cost vehicle rent charge to cover any accidental damage, when i arrived at Click Rent they stated would need to spend a further 130 euros to cover any body work damage. This essentially increased the overall cost by a third. When I queried this with the Click Rent staff they said the insurance paid doesn't cover their car and was an agreement with the broker AutoEurope. Obviously I felt I needed to pay additional for the insurance so I wasn't stung by a 1500-1700 euro excess charge for any damage. However, I was given a car from a larger class and they didn't query sand in the car or dirt accumulated from a family holiday in Ibiza. "

" Click rent were very pushy trying to sell the insurance for any damage. They said even the smallest of stone chips could result in a bill of 1700euros. As the discussions continued, a click rent employee came up to the same desk computer and started using it, this caused us to have to wait until he finished he inputting in order for us to progress the paperwork. this happened again 10 minutes later, despite the fact there was no-one using the computers on the 3 other desks! We had to completely re-do the accident damage form to reflect the state of the vehicle, we then filmed the vehicle in detail to show the state it was collected in. on return, the checked was made of the vehicle and the clickrent employee tried to say we had caused more damage, we then showed him the video and he then dropped the issue. I found clickrent to be a rude and pushy firm who were only interested in making extra money from the booking, and will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them. "

Inspection of vehicle said damage had been caused. Fortunately I had taken a video on my phone at time of collection . Identified damage was present at time of collection. Time taken to deal with this my wife and daughters caught the return shuttle without me . I subsequently caught a later one. Very stressful experience There needs to be greater contact between Auto Europe and the chosen rental company . The issue over insurance and the overall time to receive the car was unacceptable. " Over all an excellent experience. From pickup at airport , to picking up the car, to drop off and return to airport no logistical problems. Staff Training emphasising the need NOT to debit credit cards with the excess would be appreciated. "
" The only downer was that the booking clerk debited my credit card 200euros being the excess on my insurance policy at time of car pick-up.Took a few days to get the money reimbursed. On all other occasions I have booked with Click Rent the excess was merely held in abeyance. Having said that , an excellent company to hire from. "

" Took nearly 2 hours to get the car because of the queue and ticket system they use whilst only half of the sales counters were occupied by staff. The car was described as 'VW Touran or Similar (intermediate class)' but Click Rent informed us that they don't have Tourans so gave us VW Caddy 5+2 seat van (compact class). If we wanted a van we would have booked a van. The vans only had ventilation in the front seats and the back windows don't open and aren't tinted so the children got very warm and uncomfortable. The vans only have 5 gears and are noisy so comforting the warm children was hard at motorway speeds. The car seats were not provided as booked and had to be changed twice to get the correct size. No assistance was giving in fitting the seats and they were very basic quality. Airport transfer was good. "

" The only problem we had was when we were waiting for the shuttle bus to the airport. Clients who had just arrived got a seat but some clients who had been waiting didn't get a seat which annoyed them a lot. There should be a ticket system or other type of managed queuing system. "

" Copy of email sent to Auto Europe - still awaiting reply Just to let you know I had a very bad experience Clickrent in Ibiza - although most of the problem stated with me arriving late I found the service and attitude well below par. 1,Car park 3 which is not signed posted very well (considering its were the cheaper car hire transfer depart from) and was at the far end of the airport. 2, Arriving at twilight the poorly lite pickup area was alive with insects and I got very badly bitten. 3,The other companies had regular transfer bus's coming and going during the 45 minute wait but not Clickrent. 4,After eventually understanding the telephone message on the number given, I got no reply/no answer/no recorded message from the Ibiza office! 5, I was just about to get a taxi when the lady arrived with no reason for the lack of service - she told a couple who could not fit into the mini bus she would be right back - but at the garage is got out to process the people on the bus and left the others to wait with the bugs. 6,I was told your insurance I bought was worthless and unless I took out theirs she would block my credit card for £1005. 7, She then hit me with a 40 euro "out of office" pick up charge ! With arriving late and then waiting to be picked up it was after 20.00 so I had to pay but I can't understand how they charge such a large amount when the office was clearly open to 22.00 and the office was full of customers (very upset customers!) I see on social media I'm not the first to fall for this scam so will not bother trying to recover this charge. I don't normally take notice of social media sites but wish I had before booking with Auto Europe/ Clickrent. I now read that customers have had to get taxi's back to the airport after dropping off the hire car due to tardiness of the staff which I can well understand with my experience so far. I intent returning my car well before the 13.00 return time but I'm not looking forward to the process and will drop my wife and luggage off at the airport first. Please let me have your comments before I add my experience on to the internet or consider using Auto Europe again with or without your worthless insurance! "
