    Driving Licence Requirements

    In order to drive a vehicle in Bahamas you must be at least 18 years old and have a full driving licence valid in your country of residence. You will also need to obtain an international drivers licence.

    Age Restrictions

    To drive in the Bahamas you must be at least 25 years old (age may vary by the car hire category) and have held your license for one year. You must also hold an international driver's license.

    • There are plenty of petrol stations in the Bahamas open from 7am to 7pm. You should have no problem locating a petrol station when travelling in Nassau.
