Felt pressured to take full insurance for Approx EUR145, despite telling them I had my own separate insurance. Pressure tactic of telling me that a police report would be required or my own insurer would not pay out, which is not the case. Had to pay full EUR 2500 deposit due to not taking their insurance. At Return, I had to queue along with Customers picking up their cars to drop off, meaning it was super slow. Took me an hour to drop off and get transfer to airport (which is 5min by car) "

" 1. The instructions for how to get from the airport to EE Car were woefully inadequate. After 10 mins of searching and asking airport staff, I had to call the EE Car office to find out where and when we would be picked up. The instructions need a map of Palma airport to show precisely where the pick up is. 2. I was pre-warned by a friend who lives in Mallorca about the industry that is finding damage to rental vehicles and charging a fortune for apparently repairing it. And to take additional insurance, which I did. Lo and behold, on check in, the employee found a 5mm tear in a rubber seal above the driver door, that we had not spotted on checking it out, as we focused on body work. He claimed it was because it had been an attempted theft. It was so abundantly obvious that this tear had been there for months, and that it had nothing to do with an attempting theft, just wear and tear, but as we had not seen it and identified it, therein followed a £610 repair bill. I am not disputing this as we didn't record it in any photos and I didn't take a video of my inspection (which you should have as a short video on advising your customers on how to fully check over a vehicle before accepting it). I asked when the final bill would be available for the repair work actually being completed, and was reluctantly told "at the end of the season", "November". I have zero trust and confidence that it will be repaired, or that I will see a final bill and evidence of the repair. They said all the paperwork would be emailed to me. It has not, and I have chased it. "

" When returning the car, a small area of scratches on top of door (passenger) was picked up - much worse scratches & metal damage on other door (likely done at same time with screwdriver) was noted on rental. But I hadn't taken photos to prove it was there when hired (i did take lots of others but missed this bit as door was closed and not noticeable). They proceeded to note this as damage costing over €700 - unbelievable. But despite my protests, (including stating this was highway robbery) they would not change the charge. Likely actual cost to repair less than €50! I am in a complaint process. "

" I have used Auto Europe on a number of occasions and generally found them to be competitive and efficient with good communication yet felt this experience was slightly below par due to the experience listed above "
" It wasn't clear we needed to catch a shuttle bus to the off site EE compound which resulted in us asking several people at the airport who gave us different suggestions where to wait for the mini bus. We waited for 40 minutes in the heat of the day which wasn't the best start to our holiday especially with young children who were tired and keen to get on with their holiday. When we arrived at the EE compound after a 10 minute drive the process was ok as there wasn't a queue yet we were presented with a Jeep Renegade which wasn't the T-Roc I selected however I realise it is "or similar". However the car was badly scraped & dented down the entire driver's side which was very obvious. Whilst it didn't affect the driving I was conscious of it throughout our holiday as I'm sure people assumed I had done it. Thankfully I took lots of pictures and a video as when we dropped off the car, it was immediately questioned. The car, whilst underpowered, suited our purposes and was comfortable to drive. " Had a few issues. Upon arrival we waited over 30 minutes to be picked up from the airport by the transfer. Asked a man in an ee car if it was him that was driving our transfer and showed him our reference number and he said no, I then rang company and asked where the driver was and they proceeded to hang up the phone. I then attempted to ask the man in the ee car again if he was our driver, he realised he was the driver and apologised. We arrived at the drop off point to pick up the car, the woman explained our car wasn't ready and it was being valeted, this was disappointing as we were relying on a bigger vehicle to fit a family of 4 people in plus 3 large suitcases. The car we were handed was unsuitable for this, having to put one large suitcase on a back seat. The woman did explain that we would be refunded the difference of the car we wanted with the car we received (the woman explained this would be refunded around half the price). We would like this to be executed as soon as possible. "

" Very poor check in. We were left to check over the car in the rain with no guidance or anyone pointing out known scratches or dents. We had to take photos and mark on their car picture where we found any damage. High pressure to take out their additional insurance. On returning the car (in the rain) the office staff were very happy to come out and 'find' dents and scratches we hadn't marked on our sheet. Whilst I realise we were liable for any additional damage found we were horrified to have some small dents around the top of the drivers door (alleged evidence of the door being forced open) and then charged a huge amount for supposed repairs without any evidence of how this figure was reached. We were then forced to sign for the alleged repair amount of €968. Without agreeing to this we couldn't leave for the airport. We were very angry about this and the 2 other parties in the office with us also dropping off their car were being told damages had been found and they needed to pay a huge extra amount. The whole thing seemed like a big scam by the company whose staff knew exactly where to find virtually hidden damages and then came up with an astronomical amount (just less than the deposit taken on the credit card funnily enough) to get it fixed. Which I doubt they even do, it seems they hope you don't notice and then show you the damages on return. I've never had this kind of experience before in any car hire situation in any country. I would ask you as a company to check out this company and consider not using them again. If you look on Google at reviews for eecar rental you will see that they do not come out well and in fact are very negative. I will contact you separately re. this as I am very unhappy with my experience. "

" Simple and easy. just one note, if fully insuring, need to understand this is at ee end too, trid to get us to cover wheels and windows on separate policy. Fully insured with no excess should mean fully insured with no excess. "

" Staff had clearly just set up the business as it was very disorganised. They didn't have the car I ordered and paid for i.e. Automatic Audi A3 or similar. The only vehicle they had available was a small van which was manual and not automatic. if I wanted a van I would have booked one! Staff didn't seem that bothered that they hadn't provided the correct vehicle. There is a reason I booked an Automatic. "

Was offered a manual Audi A1 (which was too small) or a Citroën small Van, which was not either of the things I booked! The pick up from Airport was not clear on the instructions as to where the bus would be. we spent half an hour waiting/looking for the zone that was surrounded by hundreds of other buses / pickups etc. Clearly was an issue as many people called EE Car to clarify when we finally made it to their office. " On Friday 7th April we were due to pick up an 'eecar' at 1pm from Palma airport. The car was not ready and we were told by katrina at 'eecar' to get a taxi to our apartment and the car would be delivered. She didn't know what time so we had to just wait. It ruined our whole afternoon, as we had no car to go anywhere. We were stuck at our apartment until 5.30pm when they dropped it off. Katrina from 'eecar' said we would only have to pay for 6 days rental, not 7 days, as we had no car all day. She told me to email AutoEurope, so you could amend the cost of the booking. However, it appears no one at AutoEurope or EEcar wants to actually do anything to refund the money as I keep getting fobbed off!!! "

" Terrible. I've raised this as a complaint. It took 5 hours to get a car at pick up and it still wasn't the right one. We were given a very small car for our family of 4 and told to raise the reimbursement with autoeurope. Phoned autoeurope to report the 5 hours spent waiting and told to fill in an online complaint form. Car was nice to be fair. Drop off also terrible- drop to an address in Palma centre that doesn't exist, then to race to the airport and try to find someone in arrivals, who said they'd be in the carpark. They've taken my deposit as payment and not as a block on my credit card- its not yet been refunded. Over all would struggle to be worse. "
