" It was a bit confusing as it wasn't in the voucher we have to pick up the car at the Europcar, so we were looking for a sign for Auto Europe,but didn't find anywhere at the Innsbruck airport, so we had to ask other car rental office's staff to help find it and they told us it's the Europcar. My suggestion is to notify the customers at least on the voucher. Apart from this little thing we are absolutely happy with the company, highly recommended Thank you Auto Europe "

" The main problem was being overcharged an unauthorised amount upon my return for a unrequested better car than the one originally booked provided at the airport. The second issue scratched alloys and markings near the boot that I was very conscious of and not hightlighted when I picked the car up, this made me uneasy for the whole rental period .The whole industry practice is an absolute disgrace. rip off one - Overpriced insurance at the desk rip off two - Allegations of damaging vehicles and overcharging where they can. rip off three- unexpected and unauthorised deductions made the credit card that hires the ca. I would ask anyone to read the uk criminal definition of the act of fraud and compare to the industry practice, any difference ? Fortunately autoeurope who I Hired the car through were excellent and dealt promptly and very efficiently with the unauthorised deduction by Europcar . Great aftercare service . "

" When picking up the car, the petrol was already down one bar. But I didn't notice/check until 10km into our journey. The contract is full to full. Not knowing what to do I return the car full. But no-one as on the counter when we returned, as they were taking their lunch break. Not a major issue, as think I only lost out on about 5 EURs. But would have been helpful for someone to have checked this and informed me what to do when picking up the car. "

" Our flight was delayed because of bad weather in innsbruck, so we were diverted to Salzburg. i informed europcar as soon as I landed that we would be late picking the car up as we had a bus transfer to innsbruck. i have evidence of this call. this call WAS NOT put through to the innsbruck office who subsequently left the office. When we arrived at the office, there was nobody there and nopone to telephone if the office was unattended - unlike the other rental offices. There was a sign suggesting somebody would be back in 90 minutes! We therefore waited until an extremely rude and abrupt man arrived claiming he didn't know about us. he subsequently charged us for a rental commencing outside office hours -54.45EUR, which we had to pay or we would not have been provided with the car. I understand about this charge, however it was not flagged up on the autoeurope index rates and I would only expect to pay this if the staff were available at the time we arrived - not 90 minutes later and by coincidence. i would like to claim this back and be grateful if you could advise how I go about this. "

" My only experience was that having asked to collect the car at 12 noon it wasn't flagged up that the office closes at 12 noon on Saturday. Fortunately Christine Errhalt the representative there stayed on after closing time to hand over the car to us. It really should have been brought to our attention more prominently than somewhere in the Terms and Conditions. Our other criticism was the Polo was terribly underpowered to tackle the mountains of Austria, however it was reliable and very economical. I'm very happy to use Auto Europe and Europcar again in the future. "

" We had to wait a long time at the counter because only one member of staff was on duty. Then we had to spend a long time fitting the child seats - this is something the company should do in advance. Finally, the child seats were absurdly expensive - €50 each for five days, when they only cost about €100 to buy new. This is ridiculous. "

" Due to a typo on my wife's part, Auto europe thought we would be picking our rented car up the day before we did. On checking in with them the next day there was no trouble and a car was ready and available to us. The car was new and in mint condition. We felt very proud to show this car off to our friends and family in Hungary. The staff were very friendly and efficient and spoke English beautifully. Thank you to all at Auto europe at Vienna Airport for making our booking and the return so easy. "

" Fine. The car wasn't ready when we arrived, but we were 15 minutes early. There were no Europcar spaces in the car park, on return, but a member of their staff confirmed we could park in a space designated to another company. "

" The counter staff were excellent, although we suffered a delay they came up with a resolution to our problem. "

" The boot on the car we where given was not large enough to carry 2 large cases and 4 cabin cases, luckily the counter staff found us a Jeep at a higher rate of 12 euros per day the only problem was that I would have preferred a manual gear box. The car we were allocated was recommended by you based on being large enough to cater for our luggage, I am not too happy about this and would like compensation towards the additional cost. "
