" Easy booking "

" On return of the car the representative said there was damage to a wheel. It was a very small chip. I showed him the video that I had taken on pick up and it showed the scratch and other existing damages in the car. He then backed down but they are just chancers trying to get more money out of customers - a bad experience "

" Straightforward and easy but in future I'd like more control over which company it booked me with. "

" The staff were good. Pick up and drop off were easy. The car was a little old, had done over 90.000 km and the brakes sounded terrible. The screen was very basic with no Apple Connect or similar. Only Bluetooth for playing music. "

" Process with AutoEurope was smooth, vehicles competitively priced. They did answer a query I had via email in an acceptable time-frame. Could do with better integration with the car hire firms to ensure all details are provided and adhered to. "

" You have to check the contract and pricing of extras very carefully. They tried to charge me nearly double the 'max price' for car seats - until i pointed it out and also different level of CDW excess to the contract...... That said they did provide a brand new (only 14km!) and upgraded vehicle. "

" Still waiting for account to be closed. The car ran out of oil about 50km into our journey from pick up so had to stop & buy oil & fill up. Awaiting refund of cost of oil & return of deposit . Counter staff were very polite & apologetic but not empowered to refund there & then "

" We were told we would receive an emailed copy of damages with pictures from the representative when we picked up the car that would be immediately ready for our review. We did not receive that email until we dropped off the car 2 weeks later. Then, a few minutes later, we received another email with an additional picture stating we had damaged the bumper, which we had not. They charged us $474 USD for it! We reached out to the representative 4 times without any response back. Terrible service and fraudulent activity. I reported this to my credit card company. Also, to top it all off, they said the car was full when we picked it up only to have the gas meter click down immediately after we drove off. I doubt I will ever use this company again! "

" Car had close to 30000 km and various bits of damage when I picked it up, which I took photos of. I caused no other damage. Dropped the car of almost 2 hours befor my return flight, early in the morning. The man at the Europcar desk had no customers waiting and could have easily checked out car while I was there. Instead, refused to do so, something I am always wary of. The following day, sent me photo of scratches on left hand bumper, implying that I may have caused those, but they were already there. Pointed that out to them by email reply, have heard (so far) nothing further. "
