" I have been a regular user of Green Motion but I am very disappointed with the drop-off on this occasion. There is no lit area to inspect the vehicle, no staff to return the vehicle to and no way to confirm the condition of the vehicle - I am now being accused of damage that occurred whilst the vehicle was parked outside my rental period!! " Getting the car from the airport was fine till I was told that I had to pay a cleaning fee at the end of the hire of 10 euros. I said that this was not mentioned in my booking and I would look it up. As I collected the car, there was a large dent on the front bumper that was not on the paperwork. I then had to find someone to check it and sign it off. This was a big inconvenience to them but got it sorted. On return of the car I took the keys back to a man in a van who I hoped was working for Green Motion. I went back to the reception to find out about this cleaning charge as I hire a lot of cars and this is the first time I have heard of this. I was told I have to pay it as it is in my contract and even if I don't pay now we will take it out of your deposit. Well, they did not just take €10 they then charged me for damage to the car to the sum of €396. There was a scratch under the rear bumper which I couldn't of done as I didn't reverse this car at all as I parked on a grass yard and also what looked like scratches from a bush that were very faint but also charged for them even though they were there when I picked up the car. If this company was in the UK I would be taking legal action. I am dealing with my credit card company to try and resolve this. I would really like a call back in 07977148576 Thanks, Mark "

I have provided a credit card (VISA) with expiration date in January 2020 and was told by Green Motion staff and they can't accept it because they need the card to be valid for at least 3 months. I haven't heard about this before and it definitely hasn't been mentioned in Auto Europe T&C. As a result of this I was charged for the insurance around £30 and I didn't really need it. I would like Auto Europe to refund me this money ASAP. Thank you. "

But the car was disappointing - It was not clean (but I was expected to bring it back clean!); All the faults were not marked on the report; There was no convenient, covered area to inspect the vehicle (it was poor light and raining!) - Subsequently, some marks were missed and Green Motion want to make me responsible!! " Unfriendly staff when receiving the car. The staff were in a van and didn't get out until I knocked on the door window. When picking up the car there was 11 scratches on the car already marked on damage info and when we walked around the car I sore another 5 scratches which was added to the damage sheet. I think if i didn't see and add the extra scratches to the damage sheet i would have been charged for them too. This company makes money on ridiculous extra charges for damages we haven't made. When coming to drop off the car the was no one there to check the condition of the car and sign paper work. The People should check the feedbacks online before making any bookings within Green Motion Latvia This place should be closed as soon as possible or brought to court. "

" Firstly the car we booked they didn't have so had a Toyota Corolla instead of Nissan duke which we reserved. Didn't want to wait longer so accepted this. Also paid extra £15 for car to be cleaned by them after drop off. They said no smoking in the car, I had one or two during the 5 days of rental, when we returned the car they said they could see ash in the car and it smelt of smoke, really after 2 cigarettes? They charged me an extra £150 for a chemical clean on the car which I thought was ridiculous, won't ever book with them again , my advise is to pay a little more and go with a big company as these little companies do everything they can to extract as much extra money from you. £150 is a joke. I won't be using them again, if you do just realise they will be doing everything they can to extract money from you. If you do forget and have a cigarette then get the car cleaned inside and spray some air-fresher inside before giving it back "

" 1. The rental was advertised by Autoeurope as Full to Full fuel, but the car was only 75% full on pick-up making it hard to judge how much fuel to put in the tank at the end of the rental. This was annoying, particularly as Full to Full was listed as a specific part of the rental deal. 2. There was a cleaning policy in place which I was not made aware of in advance. When I picked up the car Green Motion said they either required the car to be returned newly washed and ready to go out to the next customer or I could opt to pay 15 euros for them to wash the car upon it's return. I opted to pay the 15 euros. I should have been made aware of this at the time of booking the rental. The voucher only makes mention of a surcharge if the car is returned excessively dirty. The rental was still good value and I would have been completely happy if I had been prepared in advance by Green Motion and/or Autoeurope being upfront about the above. But on both counts I felt "conned" because the rental was not as advertised, and I was required to pay extra. "
